1st Time Grower - White Widow

Hello folks. First time grower here. I have no experience growing cannabis but im looking forward to the end result.

So this is what I have and plan to do

Grow tent- 48x24x60

Lighting-
6x 23w ccfl 6700k for 1st month of veg
400w MH for the rest of veg
400w HPS for flower

Soil-
Foxfarms Ocean Forest

Nutes-
Foxfarms Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom

1st seed was put in soil exactly a week ago. Watered them once so far.
Temp night and day is good. Humidity is good. I have a duct fan that will be placed at the top vent and will be purchasing a regular fan for the bottom. The tent is kept in a constantly cool basement, so for now I dont have any heat issues. If the heat gets too high I open one of the lower vet flaps and the bottom of the tent. I will be adding nutes very soon

One of the babies doesnt seem to be doing so good. When the 1st set of leaves sprouted, I noticed one was kind of odd looking. Anyone have an idea of what could be going on here? I washed the soil with distilled 3x before putting the seeds in so I dont think its nute burn.

Watered a little bit today. I thought today was water day but I did it a day early by mistake. Oh well...


The mutant looking one seems to be doing better after the watering I did 2 days ago

The 1st one that sprouted is looking good

This seed has been germinating for over a week but it looks weak. I put it in soil today so we'll see what happens.

This morning I noticed some green stuff on the soil. After some quick research it appears to be algae. Then I noticed white fuzz which appears to me mold. Both obvious signs of over watering. I scraped off the algae and mold best I could and misted with 50/50 vinegar and water. Im thinking the humidity gets high when its lights off, so ill check on that.

Im also seeing roots stick out the holes in the bottom of the cups. Signs its time to switch to a larger container?

Do you buy gallon jugs of water for your plants? If so we're and what's the ph.im also on my first grow and I have been using well water for my plants there sprouted but I need to figure out something better

Ive been using distilled water. I havent tested the ph of it by itself but the runoff is around 6.2

The mutant seems to be doing better and is actually growing faster than any other

Going to be transplanting real soon. Cant wait to get them out these solo cups. Going to wait till the soil gets real dry

Today was transplant and first feeding day for two of them.


Gave them a light watering and cut the cups in half to transplant

This one had a large gap in the soil

Placed a cup in the middle then filled it with soil for the perfect fit

There were some issues. Some of the leaves on the 2 plants has brown spots. Im thinking it could be calcium or magnesium deficiency? I will see how the do these coming days. I must say, changes happen in the blink of an eye. I didnt even see brown spots yesterday.

I mixed a half gallon of distilled with 1tsp FF big Bloom. I wanted to start off with 1/3 dose strength that FF reccomends on their feeding schedule. Adjusted PH to 6.3
