Hello all! I’m back with my first photoperiod grow. I’m growing 1 Master Kush (my all time favourite) and 2 Candyland Peyote.

Lights: 2 sf2000 LED’s total actual wattage 400
Running 20/4
4” carbon filter and fan
Final pots 10 gallon fabric
Nutrients - see below
Seeds - see below
Water ph 6.3
Soil - mycorrhizae
RH 40-50% regulated with homemade humidifier attached to RH controller
Temp 75-80 degrees

Candyland peyote sprouted Nov.3
Master Kush Nov. 5

A little fact about Master Kush - it was previously known as high rise. It is a true indica. I fell in love with this strain 20 years ago and have always wanted to grow her.

Candyland peyote was chosen upon recommendation. It has a very high thc at 26% and is a sativa dominant hybrid.

Let me know your thoughts on my grow and your experiences with these strains.

Great start my friend. :yahoo:
Hope everything is going good today.
Mind if I tag along?
Quick question if you don't mind. :Namaste:
Do you have a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher perhaps?
Just to be safe around those wires.
Thanks take care.

Stay safe

Hi @Bill284 ! Yes of course you can tag along. Thank you for the comments. I do have a fire extinguisher and detector in the room and I monitor the room regularly throughout day. Any experience with these strains?
No unfortunately.
B8t I did have my light blow up and catch the wood floor above it on fire.
So I'm very happy you have a smoke detector and fire extinguisher.
A little drywall above the lights would help.
Did you see what happened?
Check it out, lots of good tips in there.
Plus the fire damage to the house.
Take care.

Stay safe

A few pics. The seedlings are doing well after being transplanted into the 10 gallon fabric pots. Lights at 60% power. RH at 50% temp 78 f or about 27 c. Only water still PH 6. The other plants are my wife’s eucalyptus. Lol

Hey all, I’m going to do my first attempt st some training techniques with this grow. After doing a fair amount of research I’ve decided to top twice then use LST and the SCROG method. There are some opinions that say 5th node for topping and some that say less or more nodes. Those of you with some experience topping, please tell me what you do with your plants. As well, any tips on LST that you could provide would be great! Thanks all!

After the 5th node she will alternate her branches.
She is considered mature enough to top at that point.
Lst basically is holding branches in a location you would prefer them to be.
Use tie string weights, what ever is easiest for you.
Tie the branches down and out to open up the plant.
Wherever you want them.
There's pictorials in my Gorilla Glue clone thread and Heavens Shores.
Shows a couple ways.
If you can't find the pics let me know.
Take care my friend.

Awesome
Thanks @Bill284

I will take a look at your pics to see how you did LST. 5th node it is then. 😀

It’s been a couple weeks and the plants really started to grow. I started LST for my first time today. After lots of reading I decided on LST and big containers. No topping no FIM. Maybe another grow I will fry these techniques. They are loving the nutrients with added calmag. Feeding every 3 days when soil is dry. Have a great day all! 😀

Oh I started 3 autoflowers as well. They will go in the tent when I switch to 12/12 with the photos. Strains are Headband, purple Kush and Tutankhamon all from crop king seeds. All very potent strains. Looking forward to it.

Also the Nug Smasher mini I bought for rosin is truly amazing. Makes super potent concentrate for sure.

Good morning my friend, hope you are well.
Girls look great.
Just one thing, I find that leaves touching the dirt get necrosis.
I usually wait until they are a bit taller before bending over.
Just something to keep an eye on.
Don't want you having an issue you can't figure out.
Enjoy your weekend.
Take care.

Thank you Bill! I took the ties off and decided to hold off on LST for a week or until tall enough. I did not know that about necrosis but makes sense. Have a great weekend! ❤️

Hello all! Thought I’d post a few pics. My ladies have exploded with growth over the last few days. Also, I’m very excited to say I will not have to fill my humidifier ever again! I finally got my new grow humidifier with direct hookup to water. Works on a drip line with a float valve. I hated filling those things so often say yay! Some pics of that setup as well. Have a great evening!😀

We are in semi northern Ontario.
Mines are the only thing around here.
This was our first full summer.
Cold and not very sunny.
Lights in the greenhouse helped that.
Now it's winter though and rh in the house is low.
Wood stove etc.
But I'm going to be in a new facility with climate control, soon hopefully. :yahoo:
It'll be nice to not have to fight for a good environment for the girls.
20's though that's a tough one.
Hope it all works well.
Take care my friend.
