Just starting out??
Friendly reminder to always wash your hands and keep your grow area as neat and clean as possible .

Also when changing HID bulbs wear gloves AND wipe the bulb with alcohol wipes( or i use alcohol on a paper towel same thing) and let dry before ignition.

The oils from your hands remain and can cause the bulb to expire early .
I used to work in an auto shop, and the same rules apply to your every day headlamp for your car , they even sell the bulbs with alcohol wipes lol..... makes me think our garden bulbs should come with them.... I think that every time I change a headlamp!
Also , in my state MA., the garden is required to be under lock & key..... stay within the law as well.

Also get your FID card ..... and take some firearms training

Just some food for thought.... one less thing to worry about with LED . and being protected

Going back through my notes - I never mentioned that the scrog net slides up and down to adjust as the plants get higher just like the light . This was great for veg training and the stretch . The facewreck main stem cola is wayyyy in the back right corner .

The net is maxed out , but I raise the light a click about every other day .

And that's all I did tonight - raise the lamp and stir the dirt .... and if course
Photo shoot!!!

The main reason for all the pics is that I can inspect every plant closely - turned out to be more fun to watch them

I haven't fed/ watered in days , lol - but they show no signs of hunger as day 31 comes to a close .
Pots are light so I will most likely be feeding/ watering tonight before the lights go on .

And this $30 dehumidifier is balls!!!

So just gave a very light dose of food- 3/4 tsp of bio bloom, 1/4 tsp of bio bud and 1/2 tsp of cal mag for 2 gallons , watered all 4 till runoff and the 2 gallons was gone .
Probably one of the last feedings these girls will get - hoping they like it .

And trying out some different things with the kids- erk train has been fim'd , the taller facewreck was super cropped already, so I tied her back a bit to keep it even .... the other facewreck I may let go, or just top once , haven't decided - but all 3 should be ready to flip by harvest I'm hoping !

Well just peeked in tonight - fighting temptation to feed or water lol
I think a Co2 bag is in order soon- anyone ever use them??

So for a first time scrog and first time in a 3x3 so far I am impressed by how the net gets me just about every square inch of canopy--- don't know what I was doing before lol ... I'm sure over the next few weeks it will be EVERY square inch !

Plus my ladies are helping me live up to my handle name .

Ok so my two big girls ( face wreck & erk train ) are showing signs of deficiencies .
420-magazine-mobile1226116957.jpg

Just looks like a calcium issue to me , seeing how it's only the top leaves , closest to the light, and the damage resembles cal deficiency on almost every help site, grow bible , forums etc.
The smaller indicas show nooo signs of any issues .
I had another caveman inventing fire moment.
The only difference in feeding, watering and environment was those damn wal mart pots I got for the big ones ....
Pooor drainage????? I think it may be the problem.
They do have holes in the very bottom, and I removed the tray that was attached to it , but I'm certain my root mass is at capacity so probably blocking the holes .
I did mean to put drainage stones in the bottom( next time ).
Too late to transplant as the net and the buds are just stiff and that would be a giant fiasco with ropes cutting trichs etc .
Sooo I got my dremel out, and made a few patches of side holes for drainage

Someone please remind me to get air pots or at least grow bags with ample breathing holes - or at least drill the shit out of those style pots ! And I recommend skipping this style lot all together .

On a brighter note - the girls look really happy minus a few chloritic leaves which have been defoiled for the most part - everything is getting really really sticky now!!

Well - made it through week 5!! Woke up to a bunch of nanners on my facewreck plant ..... never had them before but I'm looking at a fucking hermie

sticks out like a sore thumb eh??
#**%*##*^%
.

Makes me feel ..... deceived ... we've been together all this time and now you tell me you're a dude???
I may go on jerry springer or Maury with this

I guess it's time to start flushing ☹️
I'm laying odds that I go to my buddy I got the clones from and he has nanners too-but might think they are normal---
I had to pinch myself to make sure it wasn't a nightmare
