From this, it would appear that these strains are completely different. I would think that in this case they wouldn't look so similar.

Gelato's genetics are about 3/4 GSC.
It's a cross of Thin Mint GSC and Sunset Sherbert, which is a cross of GSC and Pink Panties.
It really sucks about the seeds.
This is the fourth GSC based strain I've seen or heard of that had seeds in them.
