Are these stretching too much under new 315 CMH?

Hello all, I bought a 315 watt cmh light last weekend and I have to say so far I am really liking this light. I can hold my bare hand 6 to 8 inches below the light for ever without any issue. My older seedlings(couple weeks old) seemed to have really started kicking under this new light. I have the light about 56 inches above plants because of paranoia on my part when it comes to burning them. My question is do you think my new seedlings in the red solo cups (which are about 4 days old) look ok or do they look like they are stretching? Thanks all.

They do look a bit "tall" for their age,I've never
used CMH lights, but 56" seems too far away for any light.
Hopefully, someone more familiar with cmh lighting will chime in here.

I agree with Carcass, 56" is very high. I know a 315w CMH can be hung anywhere from 18" to 36" so I would say hang it at 25" and keep a close eye on the girls, they will tell you if it's too close by shying away from the light, or pointing up towards it if they want more!

I grow with cmh they are awsome lights you will be very happy with them I liked mine so much on my first grow that I'm getting a second one this weekend. I keep mine 24 inches away from my plants thats the height I would recommend if the plants start wilting from it just raise it up an inch or 2
