Barneys Farm Cup Winners Bonanza Starring Root Rapid 8 Pot RWDC

Yeah looks really bushy now! Did you do some defoliation or going to do to open up?
i do defol a little most times i am in the room. there is so much that could be stripped but time always beats me with my two youngest children demanding daddy time ( full time stay at home dad, easier going to work !!!) The Liberty desperately needs a strip out for her lower bud sites and i would have done way more early training usually too. This crop has tried my patience, skill, sanity , so has been put into second place with time. my plan is to do a major defoliate tomorrow as have "booked time" away from fathering/mothering. Life can be too busy sometimes lol.

Allright, completelly understandable!
Looking forward for the pics after def!
How many weeks do they have to go?

i have been in today and done some room sealing as my loft smells like an amsterdam coffee lounge after the scrub from filter. so many tent leaks and getting positive air instead of the negative. new carbon needed i think. did a bit of defoliating and a little shuffling for light penetration. the criticals have about 3 weeks , the liberty and Hulkberry 5 weeks and the Buddha and utopias have another 8 at least. . Never an actual science amd always down to the trichromes at the end. Had 7 week strain go 12 weeks before . will use my loupe to hit the sweet spot as they start going amber.
The smells are very distinctive between them all but the Buddha in soil is a sweet stinker. way more aromatic than the rdwc girls.

Wauw! How big is your room!?
Can't wait to see the girls put on some serious weight :D
Doesn't it stress them too much when in flower to defoliate them?
Btw I just finished wrapping them, here's a pic of the endresult. I think I'm good to go now with my growbox.

looking great and will help with stable heat on res and pots.
As long as the defol isnt too aggressive and too late i to the flowering. will not take any more unless they become a problem elsewhere on the canopy.
My room is a loft space. tent was an old one that i had to adapt to fit into the apex. it is a 2m x 2m x 2m but the apex starts at about 1.2 m to 1.8 at top. lights have to go in middle of it which is a pain to keep all plants in good light zone. The white tent bar is 1m high so u can see how tall some of these main stalks have got. With the time left still and based in previous grows , the room will still have a bit to go before its budding jungle. be interesting to see the difference between the strains for yield too. realised one if my lights is definitely weaker than it should be and would explain why half the room looks better too. new bulbs needed i think. took me all night to lose the smell off my skin and hair from the close work with the plants too

Update: Day 47 since flip to 12/12.
The whole crop is working wonders on bud production and sending out beautiful aromas up close. So many different smells to take in. Outside the tent is scarily smelly. have out both fans on removing air from the room and sealed all the " passive" vents up. Getting negative air a little so at least keeps main stink inside but still smells like a session has took place!!!
It is getting difficult to get around in the room for anything now , never mind defol etc.. The suspected g13 has created a "bramble" effect to stop incursion into the forest "None shall pass" style
20190115_120751.jpg

This makes playing footsie with the criticals is a task now. They are both doing good and look so frosty and sticky. They stink too. The peyote is swelling nicely amd with two weeks to go , should be fatties when done

man things are looking stellar....love the autumn colours!
Thank you Islandgrow. I think it may be genetic as been growing years here in crappy uk weather , even purple strains dont colour up for me. there are big tenp drops in the night but i am using a greenhouse tubular heater to stop it dropping too much . usually does not affect my grows. looks beaut up close too. I am impressed with the Liberty haze , didnt expect her to get so many big colas as only did a 2 way mainline to hold her back while seedlings caught up. I see the need for a veg room to do longer veg.lol
Am looking forward to my next run of the Hulkberry now you have helped me get through this transition to rdwc and things. Should be able to control the canopy better to with same strain.
Thanks for the comment , from you, it is a major compliment.

Quick Update: Day 48 actual flower.
ppm 720
Ph 5.8
res temp 17°c
room temp 23.3°c
using 10L (approx) mix per day
added 20ml extra cal/mag in case yellowing on criticals is not maturity issue
Hitting the final week for the criticals this week so hoping they will finish to allow space for a shuffle round. One bulb is now beginning to wane in its light so needs changing out asap.
The Liberty is still the biggest girl in the house amd smells beautiful
utopias are amazing me as they still have so long to go but are changing to a purple hazey colour throughout the plant.
the suspect g13 haze looks like nothing i have grown before or seen recently , she is next to the fan so i think night temps have caused it maybe ? , looks so beautiful and frosty in there now
pics are from 2 days ago but are so "Bud Porn" for me now.

Update day 57 flower : Have some frost and ice glistening in the garden now. Due to the temp drop and genetics family , i have some beautiful purpling throughout the girls.
can't go into the girls without coming out sticking to any thing i touch after.
The guest RQS Critical has been harvested and hung to dry completely intact. her buds look nice and colourful with tons of oil in the buds. will post weight once dried and trimmed.
Liberty Haze is stomping it in there. she is so big now and would happily take more space if i had it. Her mains are now chunky fat colas and still fattening. must be 20 growing heads at least and lots withing the bush too. Peyote still going strong and have a week to go. She is a beauty and cant wait to get her finished.
utopia have been slowly putting buds
size on but still weeks left to do that.
Laughing Buddhas are similar to the utopia with slower growth towards those big bud endings. all seems good with them both..
waiting is killing me. lol
heres the girls

update day 61 flowering. Have now taken the "peyote critical " out. she was very ready and some amber trichs now forming. She looks great out of the room and in a normal bulb. photos don't do her justice at all really. She is untrimmed and hanging for a slow dry now so will do a full report on her when she is trimmed and ready to burn.
here she is freshly out and a couple before .

Update Day 71 flowering : The week has been a busy one with lots to keep me occupied in rhe garden. Lots of moving around of the ladies as i took ready plants out , shuffled pots and ants into the good end of the lights. Managed to trim the rqs critical up at 60g Which is a bit disappointing but for an untrained topped once plant ', i ant moan too much. The peyote is 1 day off finishing drying i think and the test samples have been impressive for affect and high. soon be a harvest report on her. The liberty haze came out at 69 days looking orange haired and ready. She is huge and will be my best yielder i think. she smells nice and fruity with a slight fuel undertone Her buds were everywhere as pics show and very nearly a litre bottle thick. must be 30 heads in there. She is drying untrimmed now. The hulkberry ( guest) has come out but i dont think she was at her best in a multi strain grow so she is a little dissapointing so far with projected yield.Nice buds but not a lot of them. I am looking forward to using her clones on the next run and seeing how she can perform in a dedicated regimen. The Utopia Haze #2 is still on clear trichs but clouding up steadily but #1has a few ambers knocking about so will be out in a day or so for untrimmed slow dry. G13 suspect is still clear too. she is so greasy/oily too I am gutted they got put under the defective bulb and have remained smallish. The Utopia has a lot of single bud sites all over the plant and will be ok for a yield per size hopefully. she smells and feels amazing to touch too.
Laughing buddha looks near to her finish. still gotots of clear trichs but is cannabalising her leaves a it now . She will also hopefully help up the crops yield too.
Roll on new bulbs and the next run now !.

I hope you'll consider doing some strain grow/smoke reports in Seeds, Clones & Strains. Any/all of them, really - but I have at least one seed each of Peyote Critical, Liberty Haze, Utopia Haze (and other Barney's Farm strains) in my seed stash.

By the way, nice grow! And creative use of the tent ;) .

Didn’t realise you had a second journal. Fair play to you Gd that’s some nice frosty bud. That peyote critical is fantastic I’ll definitely be ordering some beans after looking at your plant. Great work mate.

thanks ts. I had to adapt it( posh word for rolling , folding and stapling loads) to fit into my roof space. It has more holes than a mega brothel in tailand so leaks aromas something chronic. Nearly bought my neighbours christmas trees to keep them out of their lofts , it is that bad. lol.
Will do a smoke report on them when harvested proper. slow dry is a pain in the arse about now.lol Thanks for the comments mate and for loooking in. thought i was playing to an empty theater .lol

thanks mate. i did a multi strain of Barneys farm but so many strains , i decided to do a multi journal for ease. The Hulkberry journal was because had different breeders seed. didnt diary the RQS Critical either as was using the critical forum as mini journal. Still waiting on these slow dryers and have 5 still going steong to finish this week. happy days.

Day 73 update : The Utopia #1 is done now and taken out for her slow dry now. She has lots of solid smaller budsites spread over her structure. Not javing the full lighting affected her height and veg growth i think. am hoping she suprises me with yield but jer quality looks amazing. She feels greasy to touch but leaves a ssticky oily residue. Smell is fruity/citrus with fuel in there too. She is covered in trichs so should be a mind blowing smoke. roll on harvest day.
The Peyote is still slighty damp and no snap on stem yet so another couple of days till trim up and harvest. Rqs Hulkberry is being trimmed up tonight. She is bone dry now.excellent feel to her.
Buddha has been moved to a whole ligjt herself now and the remaining utopia and G13 suspect along with the pygmy buddha , who looks perfect besides her size. . A week left for these ladies i think.
