Bubba and Blackberry Grow, Indica Dominate, Soil, HPS/CFL Mix, Indoor

Ok looks like I can journal a grow with photos from start to finish.
So here goes.One Bubba clone and two Blackberry clones.Started by following "how to clone" directions.Using Olivia's Root Gel and Oasis cubes,distilled water.in aquarium under 24/7, 7.5 watt T5,19 days for Bubba to show roots and 22 for Blackberrys.Potted Bubba and 1 Blackberry on 7/6/2010.In 3 gallon pots,with potting soil mixed with sand,under 150 watt hps with one 28 watt,5000k daylight CFL.These are the two we will follow.
So here they are on day 1,Bubba on top

A picture of the DIY setup.Thats a dresser dividing two curtained off areas approx 4x4 to the left and 3x4 to the right.Thats my bed at the bottom of pic..As you can tell,thats the HPS/CFL mix on the left and CFL on the right.This is a temporary setup.More light soon.The heat from the lights keep the room just right,but both sides have fans.The left(veg) fits 9 pots perfectly.(plants in various stages of growth) The right side(flowering) fits 7 but 5 is perfect.Foil on the walls.Room itself is light tight so the veg side is a curtain,the flower side is light tight with a dark blanket.I will update this photo once all the walls are done and light issue resolved.But this is home to Bubba and Blackberry.

Morning of day 5.Bubba is 5 1/2 inches,Blackberry is 5.They both got their first taste of Nutrients this morning.(12-4-8).It might be hard to see this early in the pics but the sticks are how tall they were the day they got potted.

Another few days and they are growing quick.Will post pics in a day or three.Both have decent growth for a week in pots.Bubba has grown from 4 1/4 to 6 1/2,Blackberry has grown from 4 1/4 to 5 1/2.

Thats Bubba,7 1/4 inches

Thats Blackberry6 1/4 inches .A couple of inches or more growth out of both of them in 10 days.
I think they are doing ok? Keeping watering to once a week.

A few pics.Just did a watering a day early.There's 6 little ones now,with 2 more coming in a few days.

Day 15.
Bubba is 8 3/4 inches,Blackbery is 8.
Bubba obviously has more sative in it then Blackberry.
They look good,healthy,not bad for 15 days in my opinion,
Can't really see the sticks so they are getting pulled.

As you can see,I still need to finish lining the walls there

I'm having issues with other plants.Old growth is dying.I fixed my dirt drainage problem,and don't water to much anymore.So thats not what it is.They are all almost 4 feet tall in 3 galloin pots.Could they be rootbound?
Can't kill off these damn bugs either.They are stronger then cockroaches.
Is there a really strong insecticide I can use ?

7/26/10 will be day 20.
Bubba is 12 inches,last nute feeding was a week ago

Blackberry is 11 inches

Both plants have had lowest growth pruned off
The pencil is the original height at planting 4 1/4

Total of 7 in early veg,all clones 2 Blackberry,3 Bubba,1 AK-47,1 Purple Diesel
Solved my bug problem.Got new dirt for the next batch.Fox Farms Ocean Forest.Small improvements,still need to line the walls in veg area and get my light back.(6 weeks without it)
I also have plants flowering,1 of them is 3 weeks in 12/12 and not switching from veg to flower.I just gave them all 40 hours of dark.I haven't looked at them yet but I wonder what a day n half in the dark did.

fed nutes,I water once a week
A couple more inches of growth on each
Bubba is 13 3/4,Blackberry is just over 13
Not going to bother with pics today.
Be back in 5 days

Bubba is just under 18 inches
Blackberry is 17 1/2
Still haven't watered yet,7 days
Another week then 12/12,maybe 2 weeks

I think I'm going to switch to 12/12
They both are around 20 inches
I will decide in the next few days,its now or next week anyway.

Day 35
Accidently topped Bubba Both over 20 inches
They are both beautiful plants
I think when they wake up tomorrow,their days will get shorter.
Starting a new batch of 5 from seed
But who cares.Only me
So this book is closed
