Buck's Bordello

Ah the little ones...

Here is a current shot of my attempt of cracking lower grade seed stock.
IMG_20200407_163325.jpg

The seed stock was the lowest grade I had from the chuck. I decided to make an assumption on germ percentage based on this test and it's at about 25%. I ended up with three solo cups with 5 beans each that I will let veg out for a while.

Oh the madness...

A little update from the flower tent. Found that being light on the IPM in full flower hasn't paid off. I still have a pocket of spider mites hanging around on the glue.

This one looks untouched so far.

They both will go another week or so. I planned on trying to finish them off to get some top samples but these will be for seed. Here some maturity shots. Pouring in the milk.

Fairly confident that I will be able to harvest a decent amount of seeds to play with from these two. I now kicked back into spraying the "plant therapy" every other day for the next week. I am hoping to stop these little bastards before flower sets in on the others.

Who's got a pair...

Turns out that both seeds popped from the SunnyDOG x Sin City Juice chuck are males:

They dead. Smelled decent enough and tight structure with thick stems. I have a couple more coming along behind them maybe we can get a flower or two out of that bunch.

Greener Pastures...

Here is a quick shot of the veg tent. We have all the cuts rooted and some more of my outdoor crosses coming up:

Here are the finished shots of Tomahawk from the last run. Total dry weight 2 plants 115 grams. Some chem funk on the nose. Sharp taste and on the potent side. Grows like a vine with huge stretch, support needed. Good size buds with a little leaf.

Here is the BlueRipper which came in at 145 grams for two plants. Smells like sweet candy and taste like juicy fruit gum. Minor stretch with dense buds.

This is the GG4S1 from Docs Dank Seeds I had to axe her sister due to early pollen sacks. This one is holding tight so far

I found something interesting that I tried to capture with a picture. Almost looks like sharp fangs growing out of the pistols. Might have to zoom in to see them better. Almost like a pinkish color. Let me know what you think.

Just when you think you're in the clear...

I was doing an inspection last night in the flower tent and found this :

IMG_20200418_195305.jpg

This came from my last GG4s1 from Docs Dank Seeds. I was able to get one pheno that was stable out of the pack of 6 beans. This one is getting the axe tonight and I am moving on.

This was the last unknown if my glue backcross project. With this out of the way I can focus on the phenos I do have and move forward in selecting a male from this upcoming seed batch. This culling allows me some space to integrate something new...

Midweek grind...

Here is a shot of the veg tent. Last week I topped and trimmed down most everything. I have culled out the GG4s1 cuts that turn out to have issues.

The little ones are doing better now that I have been watering slightly every day.I also have all the BlueRipper beans poke out some tails:
