Washed them? as in soaked them in water? why would you do such a thing... they are probably ruined now.
Anyway, they can still drip dry in the dark, in a box, or in a secluded room, they don't need to be high up in the ceiling.
Please elaborate on the washing, what were you trying to do?
Yeah I was wondering why the one dude was like 'oh noes'Bud washing is perfectly normal, and accepted.

There is somewhere on every page on this message board, up near the very top of the page, a small icon that looks like a 'magnifying glass'. If you click on that and type in what you are looking for and let the search begin you often will find many threads from over the years.
I used it and had it look for the thread called "bud washing" which is in the link below. It is a long thread. The first several msgs contain info on how the method started. Then there are pages of reactions from people and mixed in are suggestions for some changes in the washing procedure.

Have you ever cured buds in water??there’s only one shot at budwashing and that’s at harvest time. if you’ve ever cleaned a pair of trim scissors then you know it’s necessary to use solvent like isopropyl or acetone or steam / flash freeze to get the sticky off. Yep, I’m convinced trichs are like glue and not water soluble.…
now if you washed some already dried bud - yes I’d be willing to bet you’d knock a shiltloaf trichs off
I grow indoors & wash all my garden goodies. I don’t use lemon juice or baking soda in 1st bucket for me it’s just 3 (sterile clean) 5 gallon buckets of lukewarm water.…
