Can I mix bubble hash with my buds to make the buds more potent?

Let's say I had a pound of buds and I wanted to make the buds more potent, could I pour bubble hash (made from trim, popcorn buds and low quality buds) over the buds and mix it all up and would that make the buds more potent or will the bubble hash just not stick to the buds and fall to the bottom of the curing jar over time?
