Can I use this spray bottle or no?

I told my girlfriend to get a spray bottle. So she goes, gets this stuff at the dollar store, DUMPS IT OUT (Could have saved the cleaner. But I currently have water sitting in the bottle. My concern is whatever chemical blend was in it (all I know is it contained 2-butoxy ethanol) I know what ethanol is I don't know what that modified version of it is, I'm worried some of the stuff found have permeated

the plastic bottle (it smells like the cleaner still) should I save it for pesticide use if I ever need it? Can I use just the spray nozzle? It mists way better then my other...

It was $1... Why risk killing your plants in order to use it? They have empty spray bottles at the dollar store also.

No! Never re-use a bottle that had cleaning chemicals in it on ANY living thing! Go to the laundry dept or closet supply dept of the store and get new, EMPTY spray bottles for under $2. Just ask a floor person where the empty spray bottles are.
