First time growing. Outside grow. I made sure all are female. Are these balls calyxes or seed pods in the 2nd picture? Did my plant herm out? Please help!

I'd cover the hermie with a trash bag to seal it off from pollen getting the other girls, than trash it.

If it were a single plant I'd say ride it out and smoke it but with 4 plants I'd say seal it with a trash bag and dispose of it.
