Hi @Rkelly496 . I've been fascinated with DWC, followed some grows and read a fair bit. It looks like this is another way to improve yields, but it also look more complicated and time demanding. I've done an augmented Coco mix outdoors for years and occasionally need to leave the plants on an automatic watering system for a week or 10 days. Very convenient, but if you're not likely to be away and grow indoors, DWC looks interesting.

it all depends on goals and what your involvement level is. passive hydro is less expensive but needs more time involvement. active hydro requires more gear, involvement, and up front cost, but takes less time to turn around.

Do you mean you'd like to grow 3 plants in each DWC bucket? Others may want to chime in here too, because I've only ever seen 1 plant per 25L bucket.
