Colors in fan leaves

I have some colorful plants but the colors are mostly in the fan leaves closest to the light. Are colorful fans, red, purple and yellow a form of light bleaching?

Good morning @stinker Beautiful garden my friend.
During late flower your ladies are using as much energy as they can on building your buds.
So they divert all their resources to the buds.
This reduces nutrients going to the fan leaves.
As the nutrients dissipate from the fans they have a tendency to turn yellow or other colors available in the pigment.
As long as it happens in late flower your great.
Earlier you have a problem.

Stay safe
Bill

Senescence is the cause of colors in the leaves. Its a sign of good healthy plants and they are making bigger better flowers. Just let them go and FALL off. Fan leaves have a different life cycle than the plant does.

Stay the course - looking good brother. :high-five:

plants are gorgeous,, and the leaves are as well,, swell done friend
