Wow that was hard core. I was thinking a little trim around the base but that will definitely get the air flowing. She needs some recovery time but she will fill back in shortly.

Babe is bouncing back .. my supervisor assured me all is well

Green crack has some roots coming thru the basket

Gorilla glue ‘s cap was stuck and I had to gently remove it yesterday .. Hense the weird cotyledon . seems to be slowly but surely growing now .. what a temperamental strain ! I hope it’s worth the expense and effort .

Cloning experiment . I’m having a bugger of a time cloning and I have tried everything short of spending a stupid amount of money for a ‘commercial cloner’ . (a bucket with a pump haha )
Managed to keep ONE still alive from a veg cutting with a homemade cloner and popped into soil
Other one are ph’d water , clonex, root tech etc.

Here’s the interesting part .... I bought this clone cup thing for $5 bucks at a local garden center ( came in a pair) with a Gel clone solution already in it. Stuck some cuttings in it and two appear to be rooting ! Super easy , zero effort .

Hey you I hope all is good. I’m glad to see all is working out for you. I love watching how your setup and growing style is evolving since we met. Once you get everything tweaked for your liking I have no doubt there will be many successful grows in your future.
If you do ever go with a cloner you can build one for very cheap.
You just need to decide if you want to mist or bubble.
Small rubber maid 10 bucks small air pump and air stones 30 bucks + clone inserts and Small netpots to hold them. 50 bucks ish.
Same with a mister set up but a little more plumbing. Both will have a very good success rate.
True story my wife overheard me talking with friends about building one many years ago.
So she bought me a easy cloner for a Christmas gift that same year.
She paid a stupid amount of money for it and if it was not a gift I would have taken it back because I can make the same thing for a fraction of the cost.
I love my wife and that cloner has cloned millions of clones but still many years later I still look at it and feel like it owes me something lmao.
Anyways I will now quit rambling and I hope your holidays are going great.

I definitely don’t plan on growing outside the confines of current legislation . Call me a coward but I also find 4 buckets more than enough work! And as you know I like the individual buckets to grown and address different strains needs.

As I type this my supervisor and I are hanging with babe guessing what she might need for the day.
Drinks with the neighbor at 2 so I better get pressin and then Seahawks at 5 . And then poof.. The day will be gone . SUNDAY FUNDAY! Namaste

Last update of 2019 !

Babe is finally stretching . Always heard more light is best but she was kind of stalling so I raised the lights about 2 feet and presto magic. She seems to finally be on track.

Green crack is slowly but surely coming along

Gorilla glue 4 auto was drowning. I don’t want to blame the seeds , yet, or admit defeat to this strain so I will admit that when I checked the Rockwool , it was way too damp for a seedling so I took 2 litres of water out to make her search .

Soil clone is slowly but surely coming along , and I’m not convinced the pre fab clone cup works. The 2 ‘roots’ I thought I was observing might not be moving. In all likelihood they will end up in the garbage by end of day.

Ohhh and if someone hasn’t considered a guard cat , I recommend giving one a try. No one gets near the gorilla tent except me and I’m telling you I’ll deal with an angry dog over a protective cat ALL DAY. HAHAHA

Also i recommend the bubble cloners. the oxy cloner is 60 bucks i think, although u could make your own for much cheaper. Either way cheaper than aeroponic style cloners.
