Day 17 of Blue Amnesia, is she stunted?

Hi again guys
hope you have a wonderful weekend

It is Day 17, she grows a little bit on her 2nd true leaves now both cotyledons are browning

But she hasn't grown any taller, she is only 2cm tall
I am hoping she is growing her root underneath.
I saw on other post that after the third set of leaves, she will grow crazy laterally

I water her every third day for about 75ml around the edges of the pot, bubbled tap water ph 6.3

pot size: 3 gallon
18/6 led light qbz 1000 watt pro + uv (65 watt on wall meter, 20 inch distance)
50% soil mix + perlite 30% + coco 20%
rh: 70-80%
temp: 28-32 C

honestly, I'm still wondering if she is stunted and if there is any remedy for her

any advices will be appreciated

Good morning @22nory Welcome to 420magazine. :welcome:
Sorry about your baby.
I find babies are really easy to make go dormant by overwatering.
They seem to just freeze in time.
Let her dry a bit longer between watering.
And do you have a root health product?
Superthrive, kelp, b1 anything that might help the roots get back on track?

Hi Bill
thanks for your reply

I water it every 3rd day. I checked the soil 2inch deep if it felt dry then water it

Yes I have superthrive.
Isn't too early for nutes though?
any advice how much superthrive should I use?

It's not a nutrient , it'll help roots recover.
Wait longer before watering.
In 75 ml a few drops is enough.
Another method is h202.
10 % h202 in water helps oxygenat the roots.
Try superthrive first.
Next watering after that add h202.
She will hopefully bounce back.
But let her dry a bit more.

I think you're not feeding it enough. It's in a 3-gallon pot and you're just watering around the edges 75 ml at a time? Sounds to me like they're starving.

I think the first thing new growers have to learn is that watering isn't scheduled. Watering every 3 days is trying to make the plant fit your schedule. Read this thread on the proper way to water a potted plant:

The Proper Way to Water A Potted Plant

What kind of plant is she? Autoflower or photoperiod? If it's an autoflower, you need to start feeding nutes soon as she's almost 1/3 of the way through her short life.

Yes she is autoflower
will try superthrive to see how it goes and start giving nutes in a week time

thanka for your advice

Hi guys
hope you have a great day

just an update, here is DAY 20 of Blue Amnesia Auto

She grows her leaves but very very slow.

I fed her yesterday with NPK 20-10-10, 1/8 of dose diluted in water and ph-ed 6.3 while waiting on my superthrive order

I water her slowly from the edges of the pot for approx 500ml ( I have not watered it for 4 days and many people said she is starving)
pot size is 2 gallon/7.5 liter

But today I see her leaves a little droopy and turning yellowy.

Does she have any chance to survive?

Read that thread my friend.
And your in soil right?
Bump the ppm of your feed closer to 75% till she gets roots.
Then go full strength at 6.3 ph according to the schedule.
Give her time she might surprise you.

50% soil mix + perlite 30% + coco 20%
I recommend using a more nutrient-dense growing mix, containing compost, worm castings, and some ferts, N/P/K, calcium, magnesium. Coconut coir at 20% is good, but make sure it's high-quality that's already been flushed of salt. I would use a lot less perlite, maybe 10-15%. I also recommend starting in a 1 gal. pot. When the plant is very well established, then transfer to your final pot size.

Hi guys
hope you have a great weekend

Just an update on my stunted baby on her Day 24 Blue Amnesia Auto

I water her today with approx 200ml of Superthrive water (2 drops ST in 1 liter) ph-ed 6.2

it was 5 days ago since I water her with NPK 20-10-10 and she turned yellowy.

I hope this superthrive water will make her better

any advices are appreciated

Good morning @22nory hope your having a good weekend my friend.
Sorry about your baby.
You say you fed 20-10-10 but what is it?
How much did you put in your water?
Do you have calmag?
Your mix 50% soil 30% perlite 20% coco , did you mix this yourself?
What soil did you use?
Talk soon.

Hi @22nory, your soil doesn't look fine enough... too coarse. The finer it is, the more those young roots will be able to absorb nutrients. Your little plant doesn't look much bigger or better since you started this thread a week ago. I think at this point I would revert to a 4" pot with very fine grow mix, including compost soil, coco, worm castings, some ferts, N/P/K, calcium, magnesium. I would also include some mycorrhizal root booster (e.g. Mykos). When it's well established in the 4" pot, and maybe 9" tall, then transplant to a 1 gal. pot.
