Potassium deficiency

This is some form of root rot caused by not enough drainage leading to some potassium deficiency. Potassium alone won't cause the tips to turn brown like that.

don't think so, I've treated this successfully using higher K concentrations. soil grow. also pretty sure brown tips are a first sign of K def..
