Usually the taller seedlings are boys, I got lucky, they are both girls! Another lesson learned, I almost killed 2 that looked like boys, patience paid off, thanks to the one/s that replied. todays pic

Yep, if you have two little white hairs coming out, it's a girl. The dead give away on males is you'll have more than one little emerging preflower coming in behind a stipule, like you see in the picture.

Once again, I'm thinking you are seeing new secondary shoots emerging rather than preflowers.

Having looked at this a third time, I wonder if those aren't little pistils coming from the other side (where you have the arrows). Take a picture of the opposite side (or the reverse angle) and we'll see. If they are pistils, they will be coming from right where I marked, only on the opposing side.
