Ever eat or smoke the roots?

Two of my 4 plants were totally chopped so I yanked the roots. (Pic below). Anything useful I could make out of these? No, despite my reputation, I am not actually inclined to try smoking them (as I did male flowers) but I am open to eating them (as I did with immature seeds) if that’s an actual thing.

Any suggestions?

A good question, one I am curious about as well. Grandma Weedstien, your roots are cover with dirt and at the moment don't look to appitizing. Mine come out of a hydro set up and look as though they could be cut up over a salad as is.

Those do look appetizing! I will plan on washing mine pretty well, LOL.

It's been tested

I'm hopeful to test them myself, just haven't done it yet

Taste is not the best you can make ointment out of them seen it on here somewhere but can't remember where or who

Do you guys know if I have to dry the roots first or can I make the tea when they still look like this?

I would make a tea and add turmeric, ginseng and horsetail weed then med to high simmer for a few hours.

Cool, thanks. Do I need to let the roots air dry or decarb them or just go fresh?

I believe the med to high simmer would de-carb, but am not sure if cbd needs to be de-carb'd. I would try 10% of your roots and if you get the effect you are looking for then cook up the rest. And I would go fresh.
