Hello 420 friends and family!
First a little precursor: This grow is almost 4 weeks into flower, and I never got around to uploading the photos throughout the grow. Figured I would do it now and get advice and updates weekly. so, this first post will be all the pictures and info up to current.
Grow began: 4/29/16
Strains: Growing 2x pineapple express, 1x cherry lime haze, 1x pre-98 bubba kush, 1x Queen Mother Goji, 1x G7, 1x So Cal.
Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? What percentages? All of the strains are mostly hybrid. The Queen Mother and G7 are more heavily sativa judging by their growth. The rest turned out fairly bushy with LSTing and topping some.
Is it in Veg or Flower stage? Plants were allowed to clone for around a week, then veg for 2 days before moving them into my home. So, total veg time of 4 weeks before turning into a 12/12 cycle. Currently 12/12 began on the 22nd, so tommorrow makes a month into flower.
Growing in a secret jardin, 4x4x7 tent, in an apartment.
Growing most all in a 3 part ffof, 1 part perlite. 7 Pots are 3 gallon spring pots, and 1 is a 5 gallon air pot.
Using a magnum XXXL 6" air cooled hood, with digitalsun adjustable electronic ballast. For veg, I alternated between 400-600 watt MH, and since flowering I have changed to a 600 watt HPS.
During veg, lights on temps were at a max of 79 and nighttime temps varied from 68-70. Since flower (and the coming of summer) I added 1x bloom box for C02 because my temps are hitting around 81 or 82 lights on, and around 75-77 lights off. Too make up for this I have the tent being cooled by a 450 CFM fan pushing air into the bottom, near a 10 gallon swamp cooler pulling cool air into the tent. The lights are connected to the top of the tent and air is recycled outside.
No pests, but did buy lady bugs because I wanted something to watch. And figured it wouldnt hurt them.
RH in veg was around 40-50% and in flower its around 30-50%.
I am using a simple method for feeding. Have used normal denver TAP water, and used a fish tank declorinator to remove chloramine from my water. Used 7mg Maxibloom powder once every other watering all the way through veg. Alternated with feeding Armor Si and Floracious+ when not feeding maxibloom.
Since flower, I feed 7mg maxibloom during week 1 of flower and have gradually decreased a mg per week. I also gradual have increased my liquid koolbloom each week starting at half suggested dosage. Alternate feeding between waterings, So usually only one true feed per week. Since going into flower I have been giving molasses as well at 1 teaspoon per gallon.
