First Grow Ever - White Widow

I don't go by days to know when to harvest. I will let the plant tell me by watching pistil color and trichome color ratios. Advise I heard and liked: "when you think she's ready, wait a week." I've heard of autos going over 100 days. Have patience, grasshopper. .

Pistils have def turned orange while some are just starting to turn orange. I guess I just have to get a loupe to tell when they ready

Any new white pistils? If she's still throwing those out, it means she's still frisky and looking for pollen. It's a sign she may not be finished. But trichomes are key.

I can't see trichome colors in you pics. But you still have white pistils as far as I can tell. All I know is Not Yet. .

No new white pistils. I noticed that bud sites on bottom colas still have white pistils maybe coz they aren't getting enough light ? Is it safe to trim plant to allow more light in?

I prefer to take less of the plant than more. But that's a personal preference. People do all sorts of stuff. If your girl is healthy, you can get away with more "damage." I like to pretend I'm a moderate rain storm and I don't take off more than some heavy drops of rain with wind would take off. I mean it's a plant and you play god by creating her weather conditions. That's how I see it.

I'm looking at yours at Day 63 and mine at Day 57. Yours look like it's still in early flower compared to mine which has couple of dense buds already. I'm wondering if it's the light or Grow medium. WWA from cpks too

yeah the difference in maturity is definitely interesting...Al though not all seeds are created equal. Every one in a few seeds can take longer to mature I guess. The difference in yield and quality will definitely be very interesting though, if there is much difference at all, aside from different growmanship

Day 58: Did some light trimming of fan leaves. At this point buds are starting to fill out. Not much to do.

Looks like some clear and mostly cloudy, when you see 10-20% amber start flushing with plain water thats not ph'd

Okay will do just that but what happens if I accidentally flush with Ph'd water ?

Nothing, the theory is non ph'd water causes the plant to pull nutrients stored in the leaves instead of anything taken up by the roots.
