hi everyone
This is my first outdoor ever.
The plants are in the first week of flowering, I put them in the dark every day for 12/12 but I noticed today that the leaves are curled at the ends, watered with hesi fertilizer .. is this normal can anyone tell me please?

Maybe just back off Nutes for a few feeds and see if that helps or maybe even a Tadd of overwatering!
I water somewhere 1L depending on the day the pots are 10L, ph 6.6.
I water twice a week with bloom complex and supervit, and the rest of the days only with supervit is that okay?
Can it be from the wind because yesterday it was windy all day?

You need to let the soil dry out between waters. I actually weigh my plants before and after watering so I know when it’s time to water again. You need to water until run off and then wait a few days before watering again. Over watering is a problem with a lot of new growers. If you think it needs watering, wait another day. Also, follow the nute schedule that the manufacturer recommends. Good luck.

Thanks for the answer.
Interesting idea about weighing pots, but yesterday I watered with only 0.5l and today such a change ... Now I will water every 2 days like 1L per plant ...
That's how they look like right now.
I also check some topic about overwatering and saw pictures of plants in much worse condition than mine.
The plants in the first two pictures are critical, the other two look much better than in the morning.
Will they be okay?

Can it be from the wind because yesterday it was windy all day?
I know my ladies took a beating in a day of 60km/hr winds. They are still in veg though, so could be different.

Nice plants!

Ten liters is only 2.6 gallons. That’s a big plant for such a small container. How long has it been in that container? Were you planning to repot into a larger container or plant it in the ground or were you going to try to flower it out now?

I think it’s root-bound now and would benefit from a larger container before being flipped to flower. You need at least 5 gallons of soil, more would be better. I use 7 gallon & 16 gallon containers indoors, outdoors plants can grow even larger if given the soil space.

The maximum wind speed was somewhere around 20-25km/h but I did wind protection at home and it works great!
However, I think the wind is also a problem. I am new and I do not have much experience.

Thanks.
Only 10l is a container, I know it’s small, but it’s the most I can have.In this container are from 24.5.2020 I transplanted them from 5l to 10l so 26 days check photo of the roots at transplanting. I will keep them until the end in this container, now I have been carrying plants in the dark for a week every day and they are all female.
But what should I do now? Transplanting flowering plants is not exactly good, is it? What do you suggest ?
For now, I will leave them like this until tomorrow to see what happens because the two plants look better than in the morning.
I also inspected a plant that was planted directly into the ground from seed, and it looks almost the same as the others, curled leaves at the top of the plant. I water this plant once per week.
Sorry guys for bad english! Thanks everyone for helping!

I missed that about the 10L pots. I agree, time to up-pot. I use fabric pots in either 5 or 7 gallons. Amazon has lots of different ones.

If the problem is in the pots, I have only one option and that is to plant them directly in the ground.
I also looked at the pot from below where the water drain holes are but I didn't see many roots maybe one.

Hi and WELCOME! To 420mag. Glad to have you along.

A couple of things to think about.

When you cover them at night does your tarp touch the leaves at all? This can just bend the leaves slightly and they will assume that stance while in darkness.

If this is the case they will sometimes unfurl themselves as they soak up the sunshine and water you give them.

All my best,
~Magnus

I do not cover them, but move them to a dark room with an average temperature of 20 ° C.
Maybe I made a mistake because I started moving them into the dark.
And now if I transplant them into the ground there will be stress from transplanting and stress from longer light, will they start to grow back? Is there also a possibility that they will die if I transplant them in flower?

It is definitely not good to transplant them now after they are in flower. If you were to transplant them now and didnt deprive them of 12 hours of light per day then they would revert back to vegging. They would lose any flower you may have so far attained.

I would leave them in their pots until harvest and chalk it up to a lesson learned from growing. Nothing to be ashamed of. We all learn by making "mistakes", especially when learning how to grow.

All my best,
~Magnus

If you want to transplant them into the ground they aren't likely to die, but I doubt they have had enough time to become rootbound, given when you transplanted them. If you do decide to put them right in the ground they will reveg, but will ultimately have the chance to grow far bigger.
Just for reference, I have a plant in a 10L pot, which I am moving inside at night on a 12/12 schedule. I used the same pot last year as well, and brought that plant inside at night for a 12/12 schedule at this time of year with good results.
Here is this year's light dep plant, 10L pot.
20200612_132258.jpg

I will leave them in these pots and continue to move into the dark until harves.
Your plant its looking healthy and is much taller. I made a top and then lst to keep them low.

Now I ve moved them from outside of 22-23 celsius into a room where its 19-20 celsius constantly.
I have to tell that I left the plants outside and covered them for the first 4 days then I started moving them to a dark room, today is the third day.

Is it possible that this happened due to a change in temperature that happens at the moment I move the plants into the room?

I have about 4-5 degrees celsius difference, depending on the day and the weather outside, here in the room I have ventilation, but the plants do not feel the wind,i can add a fan, but I dont think thats necessary,Room is 25m2.

Now I also took some pics before the night but marked two plants look sad left at all the other two are better at least I think so.

Here is also one small lady in the 1gallon pot, i will let you know tomorrow what the situation is.

Sorry for my english guys i know its bad af and thanks a lot for help, respect

First I’m a newbie grower too but I’ve done some homework

Ok so you are now just beginning the 12/12 right? If that’s true then I would stop that right away and go back to at least 13 on and 11 off to keep them in veg cycle.

Do you have indoor grow space with a powerful light source for cannabis?
What season are you going into now?
How many hours of total daylight in your country now?

You have a nice whale, but your whale has a cup of water to live in. Too much plant - not enough soil. They have been in 2.5 gallon containers for 3 weeks but have 8 to 10 weeks still to go.

I would transplant into a larger container 5 gallons minimum but 8, 10, or 12 gallons would be better. If you are going into summer they could be planted outdoors but if winter is near then no on outdoors

Please consider all other opinions!

hi, today is the 8th day of flowering
Unfortunately I cant have an indoor for now, I can running outdoor thats all.
Now summer will start in my country, the sun is somewhere start from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm.
I only have one option and that is to plant them directly in the ground or leave them in these pots until the harvest.
But I started moving the plants into the dark because I planted them too early for these pots, today they are 63 days old.
I also have an idea, am I going to try to take a pot from one plant to see how many roots it has.

I will send some pictures when I move them out into the sun. Thanks a lot!

Great then summer and plenty of light. You’ve already been taking them outdoors which is good keep doing that. How long have they been going outside & many hours per day?

I would plant them outdoors in the ground. Weed hates wet feet, big big holes maybe put gravel in bottom & use good soil mix. Roots love air but hate exposure to light. Score the rootball sides with knife in 3 places to encourage plant to grow into new environment. Cover with soil & water in good.

I had them under cfl 125w for 30 days, Today is 36 days outside, and 8 day on 12h outside from 8am to 8pm
I just put them outside now but they look very bad, but I also checked the roots they look good. The soil is not so wet. I also training them 2days ago maybe its from overstress ?
I will transplant them in to the ground today i will make around 40L holes with same soil that is maximum hole size for one plant i can do.

Last update before short 420weekend trip so I planted them in the ground right now.
I made 30L holes with the same soil as before, they will have direct sun somewhere 14-15 hours a day, i did not water them now because the new soil was damp, so they will be watered tomorrow morning. I hope they will be fine.
