Hey all.

Growing I'm 4 x4 x 8 tent. 1000w light.

Photo added is day 5 after 4 day germination.

Light was at 2 and a half feet. I noticed someyellowing happening mayne on leaf, raised lamp to 3 feet. And added a little water .

I water from a squirt bottle around stem. 8 heaven squirts every second day so far.

Any advice?

Looking good so far...Advice; let them do their own thing for about 2 weeks...then keep 'em short...keep 'em green and welcome to the forum :welcome:

Should I start adding nutrients at 2 weeks? I have flora nova grow and bloom

Thank you for welcoming. Appreciated!

Growing in Coco or promix I always start feeding right around day 10 from the day they popped up. Very light feeding. Usually around a quarter strength or slightly less for the first one or two feedings.

Im growing in a mix of potting soil and just some regular soil...homestly didnt pay attention to that bit and am slowly realizing everything matters! It's a nice looking soil though.

I have a ppm reader if you have specifics. Week 2 I was planning starting a water nutrient mix of 500 ppm.

Since you don't really know what's in your soil I would wait until the plant tells you it is needing something. If you start feeding when they're still nutrients in the soil not only is the possibility there to over feed the plant but the nutrients will salt up the soil and give you pH problems. Your best bet is just to wait until the plant lets you know that it's hungry. Some soils are very light in nutrients and some are very very rich so without knowing I wouldn't risk it. These plants are very good at telling us when they need something. If it's a light soil it will probably be around that two-week mark that you are talking about. If it's a rich soil sometimes there's a enough nutrition in there for 4 to 6 weeks.

Good advice
What signs would I look for when I start feeding that it may be to early? I check my plants every 24 hrs.

Just plain water until you see some yellowing starting on the lowest growth. Probably will take weeks. (Make sure ph is good, or you may get yellowing or deficiency symptoms before the nutes are used up just because the plant can't take them up)

Feeding too soon and you'll see burnt tips or worse.

They hardly slow down if they get hungry then you start feeding. , However overfeeding can make things grind to a hault via stress

Update!
This is day 12, from putting seed into peat pellet.

I feel like it's going well and they look good. Ehat does everyone think. I'm excited so...posting again!

1st and 3rd pic are ak47

See the leaves at the bottom? They have crinkling on the edges of the leaves going downward.

Does that look like wind burn?

doesn't look like wind burn to me do you have a fan blowing directly on them? just put your fan at the front of the tent blowing toward the back wall and not directly at the plants you just want a fan for some air movement at this point
