Would a scrog be effective in a 5x5 tent with 5 autoflowers or would it mainly be for the longer veg period? Double checking before I set it up.

5x5 tent 2 five gal. Bags strain is cheese scrog is 4x2.5 half the size of my tent

in flowering week 3 should I prune

Just my 2cents I would get rid of any leaf below the netting and thin out your canopy the bigger fan leafs to get some good air circulation for the flowers. You don't want any bud rot , pm , wet spots on leafs. Looking good.
