Found some starter mix

Was cleaning by uncle's green house and found a bag of "American Seed" Starter Mix it was covered up and grass over top of it still sealed up nothing growing into it seems to be good stuff just wet maybe a year old don't know can't be that old what do you all think is it ok to pop seeds in starter trays of this and I put some on top of ffof a couple inches deep

Personally I would just mix 25% of that with 75% ffof and call it a day. I've not had any seedling burn in straight ffof but if that's why you use starter mix just cut the ffof with a little of that and go. IMO anyways

Ok thanks bub so probably need to stir it uo n mix it up good lol i just did a top layer over the ffof

These are the pots I'm using and the one little one is bout 2.5 I guess lol I'll check
