I currently have aloe vera in the freezer. Will the pulp be good for cloning when defrosted ? Don’t wanna waste my cuttings. Maybe just find another live plant if I can.

I was hoping to clone with my frozen leaves. Squeeze the slime out.

Ive read about using it as a cloning gel / rooting hormone..
The only way you will know is if you try it. But I'm keen on seeing the results.

Yeah the only problem is that I’m a lil far off from trying it. I don’t wanna waste good cuts so to be safe I’ll just buy a new plant. My last 2 Aloes got watered on often and were dying so I chopped the leaves and froze them. If you’re wondering about cloning with Aloe, it works great as I’ve used it in the past plus it’s cheaper than rooting powder or goop. I actually used an after sunburn aloe product to clone before and it worked better than powder I had.
Cinnamon powder works great as a rooting compound. Doesn't have any hormones, but acts as a fungcicide and bactericide.
