Green fone light

will a green light on my mobiles screen be safe to check temperature and humidity at night or will it be ok just to check min/max temp settings when lights switch on and deal with any temp/humidity problems if any in the morning,

You can use a green light all you want. The plant can't use green colored light.

Here's an easier way to check humidity and temps ........... It's what I have in my grow box. 80 bucks on amazon

@mutt thats brilliant and would suit me and my grow down to the ground, i was just confused on light type and colour , so a hps or mh bulb wont effect the plants at night as long as i put a green filter over the bulb to produce green light????? for the time being my question stands until i save up for the smart fone option,, mutt and fuzzy duck top 420 advice every time people!!!!!

I wouldn't run an MH or HS even with a green filter. Get yourself a green led flashlight or hat light.



And ... stay out of there when it's dark ..... LOL.
