Hard to soft buds question

Hi all, so before I cut the main colas off my plant they felt quite hard but after a day drying they felt soft and fluffy ,any reason for this ??? as I said I only cut the main colas off and still have the under growth growing it will be interesting to see how it goes !!

Congrats looks great @panel350 , I'd guess you've lost a bit of moisture...enough to lose some plumpness but not nearly enough to feel at all dry. CHeers mate, there's some holiday cheer for you!

Nothing to worry about if they were firm before theyll firm back up when theyve dried out some. Welcome

By the colour of the pistil i dont think it was ready to chop yet

I wouldn't worry about it to much densness dosnt necessarily dictate quality.. what strain is it? If Genetics can play a big part

In regards to the feeing before and after I feel that what you are feeling is the loss of water pressure as there is water pressure in the plant when its low it wilts ...so like what was mentioned prior its due to the loss of water nothing to be concerned about .

Although it wasn't something that was asked,I will also stated and agree with something else that was stated . By the looks of the Colas (pistils/stigmas) it looks like you picked them very early .
