Welcome to my Garden space I like to call the lab. This round I will feature Gorilla glue from Herbies . These Beans came with order placed around 2 years ago and I had a100% germination rate. Feel free to comment ask questions as you see fit . know that when i started gardening it was in a basement in dog kennels under florescent tubes long long ago .lol You will see that I have come along way and I am extremely happy and grateful for the current set up I have . I hope you all enjoy my Journey and that we all find growth with it in one form or another. Enjoy! now
on with the show !!!

alrighty so the first set of pictures are as soon as the seedlings tap root started to break through the bottom of the rockwool cube they were placed on the planting deck of the net pot of my system and the water level was roughly 1/4 inch below the deck ..lights are at 100% around 4' from the plants , co2 regulator was set to 900 + or - 100 , meaning before it kicks on the twice has to reach 799ppm and before it shuts off the room needs to achieve. 1000 ppm . While waiting for the roots to hit the solution the cubes I drenched them with a solution with a value of 300 ppm twice a day that was phed to 6.2. Also note that i am using tap water along with Gen hydro's hard water micro . I took ruffly 3 days for the tap root to hit the solution at that point I started drenching once a day in the morning and still am today.

The plants are loving the climate! With my lights a lst ( Leaf Surface temperature) of 85 degrees is recommended and that's where they are at . I have two basic 5 gal humidifiers in the room that add in keeping an rh of around 55 in the room .. The leaf's on the plants feel like velvet !!! That tells me they are loving life !

Now the first set of pictures is Day 1 the second set is exactly 4 days/96 hours later . All I can say is im excited and when you look at the pics I feel that you will see why . My only regret is not getting a top shot on day 1.

Oh ,nevermind I see it 👍
cool .. the blue lab is a monitor ..i had thought about a Doser at one time . later in the cycle you will see that i use a top of tank that will be connected to the "brain bucket" via a float valve to aid in regulating ph and ppm ...take and post with the next weeks feed in it . I will post some pic's on my next photo update.
Nice setup
Thank you very much you could say it has been 30 years in the making and I'm still tinkering lol

Thank you very much . Things are great ..these ladies are moving at light speed . I almost feel like posting pics everyday of them and you would see a difference , however at 4 day intervals it really puts thing in perspective.

Thank you all for stopping by as well as the kind words . May you all have a fantastically blessed day !!

Daily growth is measurable at this stage :thumb:

Yes Sir ! it most definitely is , right now I don't need a tape measure to see it but only to document the speed !

One thing I forgot to add is prior to yesterday they had been on a light schedule of 16/8 to ease them into things while their roots grew into the solution ..yesterday was their first day of 18/6.

okay so here we are at 1 week in the system from no roots at the planting deck to a nice size bunch searching for the bottom of the bucket. Things are staying very consistent which I enjoy .. I took some measurements of the two ladies on each end so that I can start to gauge their grow rate. The tallest one was actually the first sprout ( 2days sooner) and I wasn't ready for her unlike her sisters, so she stretched on me a tad. All in all, they are some very happy ladies. on with the pics !!

Thank you sir !
:nomo::popcorn:

Looking good. I'm in.
Thank you and welcome aboard !!

The next item we will be featuring is my nutrient line up and a res change as the way these ladies are looking this morning they are ready for my the next feed stage and supplements that i will be using for the rest of the grow . apologies for not having picture porn to add this morning and I will make up for it :peacetwo:

alrighty here we are two days later. roots are really starting to drop in the buckets! root pics are of the same plant in the previous post , I will be using her as my root control subject. lol as you can see it looks like the root mass has just about tripled in size in the past two days! in height it looks like they are currently growing at about 3/4" a day and in width about 1 1/4" a day ..they are going to be some short thick ladies as i want to say they are working on their fifth node as we speak ..i will get a close up for next entry. so they are loving life and i see great things in the day ahead .

As promised a pic of my Nute line up is here general hydroponics Flora series and I'm using the hard water micro since im using tap water ..your read that correctly tap water . I do have a ro setup that i have used for about 4 grows and wanted to try just straight tap since gen hydro offers a hard water micro ..so far so good I'm liking it . there armor si for some silica and this is the first time i have added silica to my hydro solution so I'm interested in seeing how it affects things and then there is general hydroponics rapid start ...this stuff is amazing !!!!! its pricey for a little bottle but you don't use a whole of it my system is a 35 gallon system and a 125ml bottle should last me the entire grow and well worth it !! my fist use of it is in the grandmommy purp grow that is in my sig that i didn't get to complete . I would recommend it to anyone growing .

tonight im going to start dropping the night time temps by around 15 degrees F which will put it around 75 and let the day temp remain around 90 . im going to see it it will pull any colors out of these ladies and I will also be dropping it lower in flower along with lower res temps to see if i can pull some cool colors out of these ladies. I will be flipping to 12/12 once these ladies get around 12" -18" tall and if things keep going the way they are that could be as early as 10 day from now !! I haven't decided if im still going to flip them if they aren't showing sex yet .
Now on with pics !! everyone have a great day / evening !!!

alrighty ladies and gentlemen. first scratch the previous pic of the nutrient line up as I forgot floralicious lol . It is also a new addition to the crew. Now res change was preformed this morning, and you will see that I have multiple pictures of my ppm reading. The reason for that is these ladies are HUNGRY they are gobbling stuff up . Now understand I make my solution and let it sit and recirculate to mix well and stabilize, I let it go about 8 hrs and make sure the temp is within a degree + or - what I'm changing out so as not to shock the roots. when I first did the change the solution was at 650 ppm on a 500 scale ..30 minutes later it's down to 560! So, I made a gallon of concentrate and slowly added it to the reservoir, one shot glass at a time and got it up to 690 and checked on it 30 minutes later and it was 620! So right now, I'm going to let it sit for a couple hours and recheck it before making and adding another concentrated solution ..right now I'm thinking they need around 800-900 ppm if not just a flat out 1000. I will know more on the recheck all i can say is they are hungry and loving the new feed!!! I also rerouted my return line so I had easier access to clean the water filter, If you run rdwc I highly recommend one as it cleans out a lot of little garbage it's a simple sprinkler system water filter and I believe the mesh insert picks up stuff all the way down to 100 microns it could be 200 it's one of the two. next res change I will take a pic of it before I clean it as most of the stuff is from root descaling.

In regards to everything else these ladies are Loving life and showing pretty consistent growth day to day . As they put down more roots and get larger I feel the rate of growth with increase. currently letting day tome temps creep up to 90 with 55%rh and nighttime drop to 73. On with the Pics! Hope you all Enjoy the porn.

alrighty here we are at week 2 of the roots touching the solution in the rdwc system . You will see that the roots on the control plant are continuing to grow nicely , the color is from the floralicious . The growth has been fantastic since the feed change and nutrient stabilization these ladies are getting thick and are up taking about 1 3/4 gallons of solution daily. At this rate I do see a flip to 12/12 this weekend and anticipate them being in the 15-18" height range and factoring in an average of doubling in size throughout the flower period they should all be around 3' or 1 meter by the time of completion, I'm going to be letting them go all natural as I know that I can produce on average 50 grams per meter square above a breeders quote by scrogging (without co2) so now I want to see what co2 alone brings to the table and I'm really excited by what I am seeing right now, note I don't grow for weight as I grow for myself ,I grow for quality but if you can tie the two together its a win win ! In the pics you will see what I use as a top off tank as well a container for res changes its a heavy duty 60 gallon or so garbage can and it is a game changer if your running a hydro system .it makes res changes a breeze as well as keeping the solution at an optimum and stable level . ON with the PIcs! hope you all are having a Fantastic and blessed day!

It looks like you have it figured out. :)
I use a doubled plastic tote as a reservoir to flood my 3'x3' tray with a fountain pump. When it's time to change the reservoir, I have another fountain pump with about 20 feet of hose hooked to it. I drop the pump in the res. and run the hose to the drain in another room, plug it in, and pump the water out. The first few times many years ago, I bailed the water out as the res was too heavy to move.

I have the same CO2 controller. Will use bottled CO2 for the first time in 2024. I have another controller as a spare and will mount it in the other room, and use it as a monitor and spare if needed.

CO2 set up. Splitter valve will control gas to both rooms.
