Hash - Dry ice? Or freeze & thaw then shake?

I know this post is in the wrong place but im using a potato to communicate. Whats the point in dry ice for making hash? Cant i just freeze and thaw my trim..?

Are you just trying to extract the trichnomes? The ISO rubbing alcohol method of extraction works pretty well.

Dry ice freezes the material and keeps it frozen during the shaking, if you were to try to shake the trichomes off by just putting it in a freezer it would thaw too fast and take forever.

Also, when dry ice warms up it turns straight to gas. Try this with just freezing or ice cubes then you could end up with a muddy mess.

If you don't have means to get dry ice or don't want to purchase then you should look into dry sifting or bubble hash.
