Having Trouble

My clone success rate is like 40 percent. I cut at 45 degree angle. Dip in clone x and insert into damp Rockwood cube and they are placed inside my humidity dome. Just not rooting right. Anyone have a different method for a higher success rate or?

No it's a clean cut with a razor knife I clean every time

Lower temps, less light, higher humidity.

If your clones are dying before they root they are losing water too rapidly. Any of the above can help slow that process down

What exactly do you mean? Like scrape the sides not where the actual cut is but on up?

What you mean by less light? Complete darkness? Or?

Scrap off the bark so ta speak with yer exacto knife

I mean less light. Don't use high powered lighting. I use a cfl bulb for my clones. It's on all the time. They don't need much. I clone in cups of water no hormone dip if my cloners are full.

Clones have no roots so they don't drink very well. The more you make them transpire the faster they will die.
