so is that how they get feminized seeds? thats the whole business behind it is getting hermies ?

no!
feminising the seeds, is something special to do with careful breeding between same species plants, but messing with light cycles or something, dont really understand it yet, my knowledge absorbtion rate is finite and some of this stuff just goes over my head till i learn more of the foundation skills.
