So I started this new Hawaiian Diesel, In soil, Fox Farms Ocean Forest to be exact,
Recently transplanted to 5 gallon pot.
No nutrients have been added and water was ph'ed going in. All her new growth is tacoing under and giving leaves a very skinny appearance. Established leaves still look pretty healthy and pray up to light every morning. Growing under a full spectrum led. Please help!

Nitrogen toxicity, FF Ocean Forest is a hot medium.

What kind of Perlite is that? If it's Miracle Grow Perlite it's got NPK 7-7-7 which could contribute to much Nitrogen to the mix.

The perlite is what was in for farm. I did an excellent grow years ago when all my memory was fresh and added perlite etc to my mix. This year I got excited and forgot some of my basics like adding some in for better oxygen and drainage etc. Plan on mixing in some without added nutes when taking them outdoor (where they will live out there lives until harvest). Thank you for replying

I lost all my grow equipment. Got sick and was in hospital for a while. So all my old stuff is no longer including property. But I will be doing small grows and keeping you guys posted. You guys have always been great!

I flushed her out, and am acclimating her to the sun hoping natural light would help (because she is going outdoor fully next month) and she is looking happier and happier!! Thank you for advise!!

I grow outside only. My experience is that cannabis love the sun. It seems like the more direct sun, the better they do. Good luck with moving them outside.

I have 2 runs of outdoor and 1 run Indoor under my belt. I got the girls a little early so they will go into flower if I put them out in Nor Cal currently. But I am acclimating them to the sun and they are loving the sun for sure!

They are coming along now. Figured out my soil PH is too high and the little one has a zinc deficiency. Going to let soil dry out some and slowly bring ph down to 6.5 or so maybe 6 meanwhile foliar fed her some chelated zinc and just letting her do her thing. Her new leaves unrolled overnight and she started looking alot happier

As you can see, she isn't instantly cured but her new growth is opening up more and she doesnt look like shes wilting away as much. Will keep you guys posted of her progress....shes a beautiful girl dont want to lose her

She looks hungry.
The comment about FF soil earlier isn’t true. Straight from the bag is not too “hot” for a developed plant. Nitro tox shows up as very dark green, so I’m not sure where the thought was coming from.
Have you started feeding...? What is your input pH?

Im glad to see you got them on the the right track. They look happy!:bravo:

It is overcast today so had to take a pic under the leds....I will try to get a better pic in the sunshine for you guys

Looking good!

Update pics time!! Here they are outside in 100 gallon pots. Just tied em over to do some LST and optimize sun exposure! Also switched them to House and Garden soil A&B and Humboldt county's own boosters snow storm etc.
