Hi there, :welcome:

I have only had experience in soil containers outdoors but lots of folks here with lots of great experience in indoor and hydro. How's the smell of your GGa, I recently harvested one which had a very strong diesel/chemically smell, one of the phenotypes. All the best.

Hi @newbie66 , welcome to :420:

Looks like you got things under pretty good control, how'd you get past your root rot? What nutes are you going with?

I noticed your not venting your hps...any heat issues? You seem to have a pretty sweet setup!
The grow journal of the month last month was done in a DWC by West Hippie...some great reading material, and since I'm I'm rambling about grow journals, they're a handy way for having members follow along with you on your grow!
Lastly, some great advice that was given to me, invest in a cheap pair of HPS grow glasses (I got a pretty cheap pair that you can swap the lenses for MH ones as well), they can also be used to put in front of camera lens to filter the yellow out for better pics.

:welcome: @newbie66
Nice looking girl you've there! It also amazius me how hardy cannabis plants are.

Hi and thanks for the welcome
I have been busy reading, and reading
I will need some help when it comes to increasing buds weight and when to start flushing

Starting week 10 and have never done a flush or harvest yet
Maybe you can help me identify when they are ready

I grow in organic soil so I never flush anyway.

On when to harvest, this is important as so often newbies will harvest too early before any real potency has developed.

Most of the pistils should be brown but most people go by the trichomes, you'll need a bit of magnification for that, I use a camera and blow it up on the screen to identify the stage I want to harvest at. Here's a thread with some comparison pics (towards the bottom of page) showing the different trichomes stages.

Your pics are too indistinct to tell much, other than the pistils appear quite white and therefore still quite immature, at least a few weeks I'd thought.

Hey thanks to all, for your interest and is week 10 and these plants are doing great

I do the same with the camera. I will try to get better pics of buds
This is all a first, and what a curve

That's ok, your plants are looking great. If you can try to get light clear closeups of the buds & trichomes. I find usually have to shoot off a large number of pics so I can end up with a few that are in good focus and light.

And sorry, I forgot to add the link I mentioned in my previous post, skip towards the end of the page to see the closeup of buds and trichomes to help you compare where your own plants are at.

Looking good Newbie! At 10 weeks, you are getting close. I would start checking the trichs on a daily basis. Look for mostly cloudy and some amber-colored and you're there!
