How long before my seeds are mature?

Hi All
I have a Bubba Kush that was pollinated 6 weeks ago. The flowers and what's left of the leaves are all brown and mostly dried up. The plant looks dead but could the seeds still be maturing and taking up nutrients? I've heard 8 -9 weeks before harvesting the seeds but are there obvious signs that they are ready before then? None are popping out yet but there are hard pods.

If it was pollinated 6 weeks ago, they should be ready to go.

Sounds ready with fan leaves all fading, no harm waiting extra to be sure.
I always considered the lighter tan seeds suspect or immature.
Recently tested a dozen of these and got
100% germination using paper towel method.
