I think I broke it: help for the lost?

Heyy guys. I wanted to try growing a plant. Just to see if it was really as complex as I had read. Ugh, was I wrong in my thinking. This Blue Dream popped out of the soil on March 3rd. I made many mistakes. Kept it on 12/12 schedule, over then underwatered, poor soil, broke the roots completely off when I transferred from a huge container. I finally think I have it on track. It has grown again, the stems are green instead of purple/red again. It’s started smelling of weed and has I believe signs of female preflower. My question is, is this plant a lost cause?? The little one is A 9 day old lemon pound cake. It’s much better off I believe. Also, I will be transferring them into separate, dark colored pots in a few days. I have attached pics of the BD on May 3rd when I moved into a smaller container, may 14th when the LPC popped up and this morning. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Your third picture with the strong seedling is your BEST for sure looking plant you have. That being said, the other plants are older you can tell and don't count them out just yet. Get them on a nice wet and DRY cycle, watering every 2-4 days and leave them be. I bet they spring back up no problem. They definitely have signs of under and probably OVER watering. You see how in the third picture the leaves are raised, when they slightly droop, good indicator it's feed or water time. Also, don't be afraid to put your finger down the side of the pot a few inches, if dry 3-4 inches down, she's ready. Good Luck I hope it works out. :meditate:

thanks for the reply. It’s only the two plants. I just wasn’t sure if I needed to give up. I currently have them on an 18/6 light schedule and watering about 1/4 cup every 3-5 days. The older plant had 3 sets of leaves die and fall off before it started growing and turning green.

welcome to :420:

I am growing for the first time too and I am couple months in now. If you like you can follow along and be ahead of my mistakes. :) The link is in my signature

Also, don't give up on them yet!!
