Justin's Experimental Jungles

Here is the Solar Panel for the motor home. Not using the Gulf Stream this year so why not use it for the outdoor Deep Water Culture hybrid grow? Well, that was my thought and that's what I did. Very pleased with this years set up.

Great idea!

Due to the evaporation as the water recedes from the Stone Filled Grow Chambers- the water stay at around 70 degrees when it's 98 degrees outside.

This was checked after 3 days worth of 95+ degree days.

The main res, which is below the garden, keeps it cool as well. Next year I will place the whole thing below ground level.

The bud sites on the Blue Rhino are amazing! Shocking! That plant alone may out-do "Oprah". I will send some more pictures today.

I just wish "Stinky" had more room to grow. She just hasn't got the room between the two fat ladies at her right and left. Poor Stinky!

Next year it's all out door for 60 days and then indoor to finish.

Mostly Crazy mentioned something that does NOT baud well with me, he mentioned the sudden weather changes during the fall here in Montana and he's right!
If it were to get nasty I would be screwed trying to get these two ladies in the Bud Room here.
Imagine the fun getting a 5x5 plant through a 32" door. Nuts!

So pray for good clean weather for the next two moths here in western Montana. God willing they will bud fast when the get the message to bud up or shut up because moving them into the grow room here is really not an option.

On the other hand, what if I we to put them in the pick-up and take a slow ride through town?
2 Ladies taking up the entire back. That would be a site!!!
(Now that would actually be fun. Stop at the gas station and fill up... have a few friends video taping peoples expressions when seeing so fat plants while I go get a coke and pay for the gas. Makes me want to do it just for fun. A YouTube video!)

That's all I need... another idea!

That would be hilarious!! Even funnier if there were giant buds flapping in the breeze! Hopefully the weather holds out for ya! As much as those plants are going to yield, you could build a small shed for them, if you had too!

Okay, for those who like Bud/Plant Porn this might feed your addiction.

Blue from the North side. The picture does no do her justice at all in this photo.

Using a 4' level to touch the center of Oprah. This is from her southwest side.

Oprah, Stinky in the middle and Blue at the far end. Just three plants in a Deep Water Culture/Ebb and Flow Hybrid Grow System. I am very pleased.

Oprah is root bound. Notice the roots within the stones. This is during a fill cycle.

Blue during a fill cycle.

Water will flood the chambers and overflow from the top. The rest drains out the drain line when the solar powered water pump turns off.
15 mins on with 30 min off daytime, 45 min off during evening and 1 hour off during night time cycles.

Blues bud sites. She is the most packed plant I have ever seen. Scary when thinking of the possible harvest amount. Pictures do not do them justice at all. Well, atleast not for me. I can see depth. But you can't do that with photos.
Take your guess and help me win $300 bucks form a few friends.

That's it for now.
Be good.
