Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

It’s cooled off here the past couple of days
I think it’s been the coolest July on record in the U.K. so I can’t really complain. From the forecast it’s going to be two days then back down to 26 so I’m staying optimistic.

Spot on Lewy. The plants are looking mighty fine... huge!
Thanks MrS. I’m so glad to be back to four plants in the tent because six would have been a nightmare by now. The Crumbled Lime at the front could of filled the tent on her own.

I did eight for my first time, four in each tent. Never again!
The last run did it for me. What with all the problems and way too many plants I very nearly culled these four clones so I could take the summer off. I’m glad I didn’t now.

Morning 420, I’ve had a bit of a problem with my grow system lately, I’ve been having trouble with my air pump and certain buckets receiving little to no air bubbles. After replacing all the air stones with new I then started to replace the tubing thinking this may be the answer....still didn’t fix the problem. I start thinking I might need a new pump so I take a look and found the filter completely clogged with dust. A quick clean and now my buckets are mini jacuzzis again! Phew I love a cheap fix.
The girls are coming along lovely and news on the weather are it’s going to be two days of high temps then back to normal. Another phew! Here are the plants this morning.

Good catch before it had time to cause an issue lewy. I use a piece of hosepipe into the inlet pipe and fed it to my roof eaves to pull cooler air in than the growroom. Stopped the warm air putting too much heat in the bubbles a bit. Batten down matw next few days are going to be way too hot for us to relax. I am so glad i went the daytime lights off choice now. Well done on the seed runs too. WOw they kick out some seeds. I thought my accidental seeding was productive .lol
Just got some El Patron to try out and if good I want to seed one of the seeds in a run. I know who to drag inboard now.

Hey 420 It’s time for an update. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. This morning I managed to sneak an hour in the garden. First up I checked the three seedlings in the veg tent. They seem to be growing just fine with lots of roots that should be hitting the res in the next day or two.

In the flower tent I topped up the buckets with some fresh water, checked the ph and tried to open the canopy up with some garden wire. All was going well until I somehow snapped a top bud off one of the Crumbled Limes! Think it must of happened when I had to lift her out of the tent to get to the Guicy Banger plant in the back corner.

Stung a little as it was already a decent size bud but no worries I’m just thinking of it as some extreme back building! Apart from the one mishap everything else is running smoothly and there are plenty more buds where that came from.

After seeing this full house , I don't want to go check mine now !. Besides the 3 soil girls my nft looks dreadful with half dead looking midgets. Had foolishly encouraged root rot on the run off tray , took me 2 weeks to look there so don't beat yourself up about 3 months for air stone solving. Lol
Sorted now and looking like a recovery is starting. Feels like fate as it gives me time to pop the Patron and bring the plant count back up .
Hoping to look as good as this does in a bit. Lol neve work as per usual bud

Cheers Gg. Sorry to hear you’ve been cursed with the dreaded root rot. Bloody high temps are a nightmare, everyone keeps saying “oh it’s going to be gorgeous” and I’m here hoping for six inches snow! I think the air pump problem could of contributed to the root issues last run. Glad I got to the bottom of it and everything seems to be back to normal. Let’s hope this heatwave doesn’t last buddy.

Hey 420, How’s everyone enjoying their weekend? I’ve got a big update today, I’m going to give individual updates on each plant with loads of photos and a catch up with my homemade strains.
We are experiencing a heatwave here in the U.K and I’m trying every trick in the book to keep things as cool as possible in the tent. I’ve got frozen bottles in each bucket and a two litre bottle suspended behind the fan which is surprisingly effective.

I’ve also finished giving the plants a well needed defol and I’m happy the air is now flowing freely around the bud laden branches. The lights are set so they come on at 12 o’clock midnight to 12 midday, the coolest hours of the day. With the temp forecast not changing for the next four days hopefully this is enough to stop my plants from freaking out.

Crumbled Lime Twin #2
Last run this plant got so stressed out with the heat I only harvest a handful of beans and the remainder got chopped, bagged and frozen for hash, it was such a disappointment. This time however she is queen of the garden. Huge in size and covered in frosty bud that stinks of citrusy lime terps.

Chocolatina
Last run this plant dealt with the high temps better than most producing lots of seeds and some potent buds if a little airy. This time she looks much better with the potential for some fat dense colas. Definitely has an indica look about her and the shortest plant of the bunch. If the rosin from the mother is anything to go by I’m in for a treat with this one.

Guicy Banger
This plant never made it to harvest last run and got culled way before the end of the grow. During veg she had the most powerful growth but once in flower and the heat came it was game over. This time it’s great to see that she’s much happier and producing some nice budsites. She’s had a rough life as I’ve broken a few main branches off but still a sizeable plant. Buds are getting super frosty and have the banana terps that remind me of the Banana kush and G13 x Blueberry Headband that I’ve grown recently.

Crumbled Lime Twin #1
Last run this plant held out right to the last before it finally showed signs the heat had taken its toll. That plant produced tons of beans and the rosin was top notch but certainly didn’t reach its full potential. This time she’s the smaller of the two twins but still what I would class as a big plant and I think she has a sweeter scent than her sister. Can’t wait to try this one.

In the veg tent the three Pretty Women are doing fine fending for themselves. I’ve really not bothered with them apart from check the ph once. They’re sat in a low strength nute solution and the hot temps won’t affect them as bad as flowering plants so I’m happy to let them be. Should be ready for a topping soon.
