Chem # 1
My very first auto is coming along nicely. (We won’t mention the auto beans that I couldn’t start! ) She’s starting to get a nice smell and plenty of bud sites. I’ll probably give her a final defol sometime next week and then we’ll be in the final phase. I can’t wait to try a Chem strain as it’s going to be a first for me.

Northern Lights x Big Bud
The last auto for this run is playing catch up. I’ve not smoked Big Bud since the 90’s so I’m very interested to see how she turns out.

French Macron # 1
Going well after her res change until I decided to snap a branch off! Im pissed off I don’t have a symmetrical plant but she’s still my favourite. Why do we hurt the ones we love! Lol.

G13 x Blueberry Headband
This one has got a cracking smell when you rub the leaves in your fingers. Seems a powerful plant and I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be all colas when flowered out as she doesn’t seem to side branch much. She’s now at 16 tops.

Yes BobbyZ good to have you here and you’re just in time for all the exciting stuff! I’ve been to see some friends up north over the weekend and took a nice selection of rosin with me.......it was a great weekend!! Hope you’re well mate.

Hey 420. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I’ve been away from the garden for a couple of days and I feel it shows as I came home to some very hungry plants, especially the chem autos. I’ve also received an email from Timber saying my new lights have been dispatched so I’m pretty excited to say the least. Should be some big changes happening soon and best of all normal coloured pictures!! Here is a group shot of the garden followed by the individual updates.

French Macron # 1
Looking good considering I snapped a full branch off. As far as anymore training I’ve still not decided if I want to top again. I’m probably going to let her grow for a week and see how much space in between each top available.

Northern Lights x Big Bud
Not much to report on this one. Looking healthy enough but not really moving as fast as I would expect.

French Macron # 2
Pretty much the same as the other FM but with all her limbs intact. If these two have just half the flavour of the one I grew last run I’m for a treat

Chem # 3
I’m happy with this plant and hopefully with the experience of the first two Chems I might get this one through to harvest without too many problems.

Pineapple Express
Not been the happiest of the bunch lately but I put that down to low ph while I was away at the weekend. A couple of days back at the 5.7 range should perk her up.

G13 x Blueberry Headband
All good with this one apart from the split branch is still a bit weak. I’ve been reading great things about G13 on the rosin threads and with blueberry thrown in the mix I think it’s going to make for some good squishing.

I squeezed some rosin last Thursday. The last of my Blue Mistic stash and some Tangie. It really hits the spot.

Good morning 420. No work for me today as we’ve got snow and heavy rain all day. On the flip side it means I can spend some extra time in the garden. Most of the girls could do with a res change now but I’ve been holding off until my new lights arrive as it would be easier to sort the two tents out and the fresh buckets at the same time. I’ve had an email saying customs are holding my lights so if they aren’t released today I’ll have no option but start the res changing tomorrow. Here are the individual reports.

French Macron # 1
I’m going to top this plant again! She’s getting a big girl now and only running 4 plants instead of my usual 6 I feel I’ll have the space and if I can pull it off she’s going to look incredible with 28 tops during flowering. Today I’ve trimmed up to the last node and wired her flat.

Pineapple Express
Looking much better after the ph issues over the weekend. I’ve just trimmed up to the last nodes and wired in place.

G13 x Blueberry Headband
I’m really intrigued with this strain. Smells great when being trimmed up and the growth shows signs that she’ll be all colas with little side branching not like the Pineapple Express which has tight node spacing and bushes out if left for a few days. I’m still a little worried about the weak branch I snapped as it is now resting on the bucket and doesn’t seem to be strengthening the thin slither connecting it to the main trunk. Could do with some more floor space as she is pushed up against the tent wall now.

Chem # 3
All is well with this auto. I’m determined to make a better job of this one. Now I know this strain is a really heavy feeder I won’t be holding back with the nutes! Today I have thinned her out and used some wire keep everything in place.

French Macron # 2
Took a bit of a battering from the tent wall being sucked in by the fans last night. I’m going to have to try and fix my tent expanders as space is getting tight. Not quite right at the moment but tomorrow’s res change should perk her up.

Not much to report on this one. Slow going but does have a spicy strong smell already.

Chem # 1
Had a slight deficiency with this one, not as bad as “The Pig” but I was calling them the ugly sisters at one point. This strain seems to be a heavy feeder and I definitely hadn’t fed them enough. It’s a learning curve with these autos and I was worried about over feeding. I’m loving the structure of this plant and she’s not short of bud sites with plenty of early frost starting to form.

Chem # 2
In fairness to this plant I’ve made a few mistakes and she’s still pushing out some decent looking buds. I’ve sort of used her as a guinea pig being my first time with autos and I’ve learnt a lot from her, so even though she’s not the prettiest plant I’ve grown I’m still glad she’s in the garden.

Hey Lew. You had snow too! Not enough down this way to give me a day off work sadly but it was f'ing cold lol. I'm glad those chems have worked out for you. They look great and I can see that they're gonna have some fat nugs. Your pineapple looks great too. My clones have just started rooting so I'll be sticking them in the dripper system hopefully next week. I'm battling to get everything ready to drop by 1st of December. Mainly because everything is easier to work out on the calendar lol. Good to see the garden looking healthy and hope you're all tucked up warm lol

I think the Chems will turn out some good bud and I can’t wait to flip the photos now. I've got a massive harvest coming up next week so maybe this time my buds will dry a bit quicker. I don't mind them drying slowly but not when the RH is 80% or more. The Pineapple Express was the easiest plant to clone. One of them is almost ready to remove from the propagator whereas I'm still waiting for the other 3. Easy day at work for me today. Don't have to start until 10am and all we're doing is putting a cap on a chimney. Should be home just after lunch.

Hey 420. The garden was looking perky this morning when I opened the tent. Only one problem and that was the Northern Lights seemed to be to close to the heat fan and had a warm bucket. I added some cool fresh water and reposition the fan, hopefully the beneficial bacteria will take care of the rest. Today’s updates will be mostly pictures.

Wow Lew your gardens are looking amazing. The control you take of the frame and the canopy - is always so adroitly done.
I for one am going to miss the lighting you’ve got. I know, I know we’ll get to see truer colours, it may be better for the plants too (now I think about it ).The colours give your pictures a kind of art noveaux salon aesthetic. Kind of relaxing. But hey! No, what I meant was - excited for your new bit of kit, Lew. Those blasted customs people! Good thing you thought to get in before brexit, right? Never mind you’ve still got tons of time. You know what DD I like the colour in some pictures as well and fear not until I can afford some more lights for the veg tent I’ll be keeping the blurple in there. Ha ha the sooner they sort what’s happening with brexit the sooner they can start dealing with some important issues like cannabis legislation! Things are good at the moment mate. My mums chemo keeps being put back until her surgery wound is healed but she’s well. How are you now?

what's brexit Lewy ? . Typical, we get sod all in the midlands !. They were going to give us a Mick donalds drive through or something but the cows get stuck and the windows were too low to bend for the food without falling off so that went the same way as the new leisure centre here. ( I say leisure centre but it was just two sheep tied to a lamppost!!!)

Plants are storming it lewy , autos new for me too but their growth rate is scarily quick for us photo guys to get our heads around ( "it's devils work I tell ya ! "). those stems though !, fuck me fella, your never getting them down without an axe.lol
