Light Bulbs

Not that I'm anywhere near Boise, I was visiting from out of town...yeah, that's the ticket...but yesterday on a recon run I found 150w CFLs @ Grovers, as well as HPS and MH bulbs. Lowe's in Meridian carries T-8 fluorescent lamps with various kelvin ratings.

Wow, you mean 150 watt actual CFL? Sweet! I have some 47w 150's but a 150watt would be very cool. That would be like 450watt?

I've posted the prices for the HID bulbs at Grovers in another thread before - very reasonable.

I believe the 150W cfls, which look like this:

150 Watt Compact Fluorescent 5000K Full Spectrum - Mogul Base CFL

were less than $20 USD. I'd have to verify that, though. So should I buy a few in anticipation of the day I can use them??

That says the CFL is 60 bucks. I can but 4-100watt for 7 dollars. Of course these only take up one socket.

That ad was from a random find on the internet to show the type of bulb. I'm pretty sure the ones at Grovers were <$20, but I'd have to give them a call to be sure.
