Lighting advice compact grow with limited headroom

Ive managed well over 1gpw running 4 cree cxb3070 with a 200w 1400ma meanwell driver .. ill see if i have a pic of that build

I think there is a sponsor here timber grow lights? He does diy cob light kits , may be worth contacting him for ideas?

Thanks again for all the input rhetorrikz, you've got me really wanting to go the LED route. The timber kits look fantastic however they are well out of my current price range and about double the cost of a CMH kit (which is already three times what I paid for my CFLs). I've had a look at building my own kit but I wouldn't really save much and my electrical skills are probably not quite up to the challenge so I think I'll have to hold off on my LED dream until I've got a decent chunk of cash to invest.

I've gone the LED route decided to grit my teeth and click buy haha I'll have forgotten all about the money worries by the time the first crop is in.
