Materials for concentrates

Hey 420 family, I have some questions about what to expect when choosing materials to make concentrates...last grow I had a plant that went nuts with crystal/trich production. It was a good smelling plant, and even though cured the same as the rest, it doesnt have the smell and flavor that I was hoping for. Is the question is, if I use this stuff for concentrates, will it make more than the trim and shake I normally use? Don't wanna sacrifice for no reason, but seems like it would make some good stuff. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

Buds will yield a lot more then trim and your quality is also going to play a huge role. Looks like they are nice and frosty. Incase you need solvent, I like to use Extractohol for my extraction needs. I prefer etoh and its safety over tane and the quality seems to be better then i get with iso. The hits feel smoother to me.
