I think Neil Armstrong said it best when he said "One Small Step For Man, One Giant Leap For Mankind" meaning in this particular case, one asshole potentially out the door, many other assholes fearing for their jobs and finally listening to what we have to say!

This could very well be the sort of thing that could potentially start a snowball effect and gather so much momentum that it can't be stopped and anyone caught in it's path will be crushed under the weight of our will. We are now letting them know that it's time to shit or get off the pot! (no pun intended, lol)

We're not joking nor are we laughing at their jokes, sick people are suffering and dying and there's not a damn thing humorous about that and anyone else who chooses to make light of these poor souls who have been through enough already can hit the door as well, this is poetic justice at it's finest and I'm lovin it!

Thanks for all your passion guys, not everyone here wants to join in on the activism side of things, some if not most people just want to come here and learn how to grow their own Cannabis and drool over bud pix, while very few of us actually see that there is still a war to fight and are willing to stick our necks out there and fight for the right to grow and enjoy Cannabis legally everywhere. I'm sorry to say that we are the exception to the rule and the minority in what we are doing here and that's something else I'd love to see change...We need EVERYONE on board!

Being a Cannabis activist is so worth the time and effort when you think about how many lives are at stake between the sick people you are helping to have their medicine and the nonviolent people rotting in prison that would be set free if Cannabis was made legal.

What many people don't even realize is that all the work is being done for us here because the news hawk is the one going out and bringing all the latest news to us in one central location so that we can come here and keep ourselves educated without having to surf the web constantly looking for the latest news. For those of you that don't know me, I was once a news hawk here at 420 Mag. and believe me when I tell you it's no walk in the park to dedicate every spare minute of your time finding, reading and posting new news stories everyday. It's an awesome responsibility and one that we should all appreciate and there is no better way to show that appreciation than to read and get involved with these articles, these guys work hard for us and we need to give back by taking what we learn from them and spreading it around.

Now that being said, we as members here should all be grateful to have such a place to come and educate ourselves without putting in any more effort than just reading and gathering up to talk about what we read as well as share with other non-members what we've learned and try and get them here to learn and share their thoughts with us as well, that's activism and it doesn't get much more simple than that.

There are so many petitions out there to sign all the time as well as pre-written letters to reps you can send in but why just stop at that when you can just talk to people in your everyday life about it and give them a reason to come here and be a part of it as well, I mean with the whole world finally waking up and warming up to Cannabis like we've never seen before, there is no better time than now to put it out there and get others involved with us.

My friends, one or two or even a hand full of us can't do it on our own, it's going to take ALL of us to make real changes to this entire world, the tyranny needs to stop now!

I could not agree with you more 420warrior. But while I am an activist for cannabis I believe we should not just limit our activism to just a single cause. True the prohibition of MJ has gone on far to long and way to many peoples lives have been destroyed over it and it needs to end now but why stop there. Our (the USA) foreign policies have been killing innocent people all over the globe in order to protect the interests of a few, calling their deaths collateral damage. It is no wonder extremest groups hate us so much. If my family was murdered by a government and considered collateral damage and its people were ok with that, I would have a deep seated haltered of them too. Every-time we drop bombs killing 20 people in order to kill the one guy we are after we have created 19 more families that hate us. That is as stupid as our failed war on drugs. It is not solving the problem, it is creating more problems.
Most of my family thinks I am a tin hat wearing conspiracy theorist and if that is what they want to believe, fine, but I will continue to spread the word about what we are doing wrong not only about the war on drugs but all of the things about our government does which make this a worse place to live.

I totally feel you brother, there are many fish to fry in this world but I also feel like this war on our beloved Cannabis plant is the great white shark in the bunch and this war is actually winnable at this point, so we need all hands on deck to see it all the way through to the bitter end.

I feel like allot of the worlds other problems are a direct result of the war on Cannabis and will be much easier to resolve once it has ended, not all of them mind you but allot of them.

I imagined all the time and effort they put into this task and I with to express my appreciation and thanks to them for that. And also to all those who are involved working with 420 magazine to make this site possible. I also appreciate the common respect that members show here. 420 magazine by far is the best cannabis site I have found.

Because of 420 magazine, I'm armed with information to enlighten others and I do recommend 420 magazine to them. Sometimes I can see their faces light up when I tell them about this site. "Momentum on the petition for change at DEA is continuing to pick up. Just a few days after dropping off 100,000 signatures, we now already have 125,000 -- and counting. Plus, a bipartisan group of members of Congress is demanding that President Obama fire for Rosenberg for his cruel comments."


A small part perhaps, but the forum members that signed the petition were a part all the same and are to be commended!

I say get the government out of our gardens...Period! If you can grow it in your garden, it is a natural part of our world to be enjoyed as we see fit in a free society! Once the laboratories create synthetics or alter genes ,etc. it is not natural and fair to extend Governmental controls. Cooking/eating ,drinking and smoking any God given plant, even if it kills us, should be our sacred right of free will! Violent crimes, fraud, robbery and etc. require police. What we do to ourselves, as free people, is our business until we commit a criminal act such as mentioned. Only while in custody after conviction, the government should be able to tell us what to consume.

Any plant that has been a natural part of nature and cultivated for generations should be legal, fully, to grow in any personal garden for home and general consumption as desired! Growing and using coca or poppies should be free and legal as well! Imprison the corporate employees,scientist and directors who manufacture GMO plants along with the politicians who support them if you wish and I am with you! Synthetics or laboratory derivatives can be controlled as unnatural laboratory products that have vastly altered states from the natural plants. Peasants chewing coca leaves they grew or smoking raw opium from their garden should not be treated as criminals and persecuted! Cartels manufacturing refined drugs and transporting them are criminals. Legalize the home garden completely! Decriminalize all forms of raw plants in a state direct from nature such as leaf/bud/root/resin/pollen and etc.To go for less would be a shame!I would like to see big business banned from the production of marijuana,coca or poppies. If the government is involved at all, it should be only to set crop size limits for individuals relatively small,to limit any profits to the individuals/families who may be poor and willing to produce a small surplus for the legal market (which could be taxed when sold) The possibility of providing a source for a small cash income to any family who wished to market their small allotment could be better for poor people than tobacco allotments were for poor rural people in some areas. Imagine the good that a source of $10,000 to $20,000 extra income could do for the under or non-employed families all over America! Granted,the market might be shrunken because of all the homegrown consumption!

Bravo Warrior! I have been growing more and more vocal and public about legalizing marijuana as the years go by! We all need to make our co-workers, neighbors, parishioners or whoever we associate with aware of how we feel about this injustice and the black eye it gives to America's constitution as interpreted by the top asshole lawyers on the supreme court! Speak up people, especially in the particularly oppressive states! People, let your Governor know how you stand on this and what it means to the both of you in the future!
