i am very new to growing and just picked up a clone from my local dispensary. i was wondering what i would have to do to put her in soil. i have read to put the plant in a shaded spot so it can get used to natural light but for how long should i do this and how many hours a day? any other tips would be appricated

Go for it man, thats what i did on my first grow. Only problem was the 100 degree weather burnt the crap out of her so she stayed small and crispy. Just watch the outdoor temps, pests, give it its pH'd water and nutes at the right times and it should survive just fine.
