Multi Harvest: Same Plant Quality

By multi harvest, what I mean is a plant that is harvested but leave the lower part of the plant to mature, harvest again, wait again, harvest etc. I've used this approach for years on photoperiods very successfully. Certainly with this method, the buds get smaller, however I do find they get a lot of trichomes.

What are peoples views on quality of subsequent harvests when a plant is multi harvested? Has anyone ever done testing from a THC/CBD perspective?

lotsa folk do partial harvests. it probably doesn't gain piles of trichomes, but they mature, changing or increasing potency a little as they go.
