No males Aussie but she did herm a couple weeks ago. I removed any nanners or sacs I saw but obviously it was too little too late.

My dad says that I can remove the seeds. Any truth to that? Will it piss my tranny off?lol

Unfortunately Deborah is also posing as a Dennis for the remainder of my grow. She has seeds a brewing(Mother Fucker!) but also has some pretty stinky and sticky buds also. I'm going to stick with her till the end and eventually throw Cat in the tent after I disinfect. Well here's my seedy mama and her sis after some much needed lst.

Just let the seeds mature now. Won't hurt. Hopefully it's just a tiny bit affected. Don't bother with the seeds in the future tho, they will be predisposed to her my tendency.

Ya, I don't plan on any seeds in the future

Quick update. Deb is 5 weeks old today. She's giving me fits. She not only has seeds but is also displaying a calmag deficiency and maybe a nutrient lockout. I don't fucking understand it. I don't overwater. I ph everything before and after watering but she seems to hate me. Her buds smell skunky and are still fattening but ever since I introduced the led she's been acting up.

She's scheduled to get regular h20 tonight and I hope that hekps a bit. I already tried CalMag. Might try a foliar spray if she doesn't show signs of recovery. On the bright side, I'm learning a lot about my setup and how particular plants grow and what they want. I'm going to throw a clone of Cat in the tent soon to see how it reacts to the led. Then I'll know if Cat can handle it when the time comes.

Hey are we having the same issue?

I had gone a day or so too long to water but I think I need to water her more often now. Need to update my scheduling. My runoff ph is around 6.0 (using drops so I'm estimating). I'm using tap water and add calmag. Can't tell if deficiency or too much. #1 didn't show these issues.

Looks like a calmag deficiency or maybe nute overdose? The last pic looks like wind burn or light burn. Looking good otherwise!

Fml update. Deb is looking terrible leaf wise. Calcium deficiency is climbing and I'm not sure what to do other than let her grow and see what happens. No effects to the buds so far and they are still fattening. On the bright side I reconfigured my veg box with a shelf for clones. Much more light for them and added space for a fan at the bottom of Cat for air circulation. It was getting pretty cramped under Cat's dominant presence in the dark.

I also plucked a couple of miniscule popcornlets. Ha...cornlets

Pretty frosty I suppose. I'm not really sure considering this is as close to growing real bud as I've ever gone. I guess only time will tell.

I'm also receiving a gift in the mail soon via my awesome dad.

His knowledge and those of the 420 community are priceless!

Calcium deficiency is definitely a learning curve for me. But I didn't encounter this problem until I introduced my led. I'm pretty skeptical about this light, even though a fellow grower on this site is getting great results with it. So I placed a clone of Deb in the tent to see how it reacts to the led so I can decide whether or not to use it for flowering my next lady. The clone is awfully young, but I figured wtfn?

It's funny how similar our grows are haha. New led for both of us and we got the what I think is the same issue. I did a good 2-3 gallon flush on mine and added nutes again but with 1/4 tsp instead of 1/2 based on the extent schedule this week. So far it looks like it's slowed down on mine.

Those nugs are starting to get real frosty Doggie D and the shelf came out real clean!

Well my lady is still alive which is good. Her leaves look terrible but the buds are still looking good and still fattening. I've tried flushing, CalMag, and feeding every other watering. Nothing seems to work. I figure I have about 2 or 3 weeks to go before harvest. She's 6 weeks and 2 days into flowering.

Wow this journal is almost a mirror to how I started.

Firstly, your construction skills are better than most. Super Impressive!

Secondly, it's so much easier paying for fem seeds and take the guessing game out of it. You will avoid many issues when you can learn about the strain first.

Lastly, when my plants were high stressed I let them grow despite my leaves looking just like yours. The bud will keep growing surprisingly. You've done your flush, it's the best you can do until the plants recover.

I'm here to cheer you on, sorry it took so long. Let's get you finished, then restart from lessons learned.

I laughed so hard when you thought you could slip another grow box past your wifey. My husband tries that all the time and it's so funny.

You have a great spirit, you will get better through experience.
..

Next time seek out short stature plants to accommodate your space, it can be done!

Yay, you made it GTHM! So many mistakes and lessons learned here with my first grow. I really hope to get some good seeds soon and start growing a strain that's reputable. Possibly the platinum pack from 420. I can't wait to finish Deb up so I can transfer my other lady to the tent. She's getting big but I'm taming her with lst and pruning. I'm aiming for a much fuller and flat canopy this go around. I didn't expect the flowering stretch to be so stretchy the first time lol. Something like GTHM's cbdream would be great! Thanks to everyone who has been following along. Happy growing!

Well my friend, if you follow Stinky Snid's threads on topping and training you will find his methods incredibly useful.

Also keeping the light lower will keep your plants low. I keep my plants as low as I can through veg. We'll get you there.

There is a thread called "Ask Us Anything " and they will give you immediate direction after you post your question and pic. Those guys have saved me in so many ways.

I am limited in experience so I don't want to mislead you, but I will help when I can.

Your enthusiasm is uplifting, I believe you will get far in growing.

Very excited for you✌️.
