My Northern Lights Autos Don't Drink A Lot

These are Northern Lights autos. 1 is well into its eighth week of flower while the other three are two weeks behind. They are in 7 gallon pots of Fox Farms ocean forest and worm castings with a little perlite. They are now 15 in under two 600 watt Mars Hydro LED lights. My humidity is low around 30% and temperatures between 72 and 75 degrees. My question is, they only drink about 1 gallon of light Fox Farm Trio nuted water every four days or so. Does this sound right to you? Also, since they don't drink as much, when should I begin my flush? I'm under 5 weeks away from Harvest.

As I said, I rearranged my lights and traded my lights out of my veg tent for the lights in my flower tent. They seem to like what I have going on now better. Now they are under 1200 watts of Mars Hydro LED lights. Two 600

And I meant to say galaxyhydro not Mars Hydro. If that matters about true wattage or not.

Raise the temps a bit. Yer running a bit low. That'll help em drink more. ;)

Wow, thanks guys for your responses! You two have been so sweet to me! I will raise my temps by 5 to 7 degrees! Thank you! And yes, they're done when I say they're done! They are my b**** is not the other way around LMFAO

Quick question, do I want them drinking more? Is that ideal? If so I will definitely raise my temps by 5 to 7 degrees. I'm assuming I want them to drink more, is this true? Or am I misled?

I have a NL Auto going right now that’s driving me bonkers. So close yet I hate to say so far away from her final destination. :lot-o-toke:I’m at day 66 since showing her pistols. She will need watering at 2 days then at 4. Fickle damn thing. Every watering, she grows new buds then flowers. Good vibes your way. Your lady’s look damn good.

They'll drink what they want/need...whatever they let drain out the bottom is telling you that.

My autos, on average, run 100-110 days.

100ish days from sprout or from showing pistols. Thx Blew Hiller. I won’t be so damn impatient once there’s a stash. Buying my medicine really sucks when they’re so close. I’m sure you know the first grow pains.
From sprout to finish...it is so worth waiting those last few weeks...I made the mistake on many plants of harvesting early...if you don't already have a loupe, get one. Seeing the trichomes is the only way to really know if your plant is done. Look first for all cloudy and then when you see your first amber you are within a week or so of harvest. I usually stop watering 4-5 days before harvest.

:goodluck:

No kidding?! Aren't they picky little bitches? I guess I'm getting paid back. Ha! For being a picky bitch at times. Anyway, they seem to be trickier to germinate and I have a couple that are behind. I'm trying to start a Perpetual grow so I've got a veg tent right now with 3 7 gallon smart pots of big bang Auto and they are being fickle as well. Growing for my own medicinal use and I love the thought of a Perpetual grow and those work better with these fast autoflowering strains so that's what I have started with. Thank you for saying my ladies look good! You know something, you made my day! And I'm glad someone else understands these Auto issues!

THANK YOU! I do water until a little runoff so perfect! Thank you for your expert advice! And I love how you loved my quote!!! Ha

Agreed! Paying for it sucks but WAIT!! My first grow I harvested too soon and I didn't cure long enough just because I wanted to smoke it and save a little money in not buying it. I ended up wasting money on my seeds and all my time and hard work put into my plants! I can't believe I did that and I said I would not, no matter what. But I did. Do not do what I did! It will be so worth it!

Can you say GORG-EOUS?!!

Blew Hiller, your girl is darn gorgeous! Thank you for your advice!!!

Thanks so much! 102 days is about exactly where I predict to land on harvest day so we are matching up. But like you said, I am investing in a better magnifying loupe. The one I have now is too damn small and I can't see. I will keep you guys posted. I can't wait to see how these girls finish. One is two weeks ahead of the other three. Here they are today (at day 68 from sprout and 4 weeks since showing her white hairs,) after a couple days under my better LEDs, which they really seem to be liking. As you can see I am feeling out my 4x4 tent nicely.

Yup, I’m waiting impatiently, my loupe shows mostly cloudy trichs, no amber yet. Thx for the advice.
