i am mixing 25% peat, 25% coco coir, 35% perilite, and 15% vermiculite. question is what nutes, when and how much. It seems everyone has a different mix of medium with 10,000 ways to feed. I also have on hand - humus compost, "Just Natural" brand potting soil with worm castings, and chicken manure compost. Can someone school me a little on exactly how or what to mix in with this mix. i can buy whatever i need so please let me know. I have Gold Leaf, Big Bud, Chocolope, Super Silver Haze, Purple Haze, and Amnesia Haze seeds. Any help would be very appreciated!!!

Ya more likely over thinking it !

Perhaps keeping things a little bit more simple or a tried & well practiced method might be a better idea :thumb:

Like just using coco coir which has excellent moisture retention & aeration using perlite helps improve aeration/drainage vermiculite helps in moisture rentention why use these when coco doe's it all...

Not sure about peat as this is an acidic PH value it may hamper stuff.

Get some coco coir spec nutrients Ph adjust & stick with coco medium, you can add perlite if you really want to ? i don't think it is totally essential tho.

Stick with what nature intended the original will always be unbeaten. Plus less mess as well

Using a soil medium instead of being a DJ is much better. perlite of course but the rest is just unneseccary altering the pH.
