No roots on clones after 10 to 12 days

Normally, using just plain tap water and peat pellets, I get an 80 to 90% root rate. THIS time, I expanded the pellets using a weak alfalfa tea. These clones were take around the 28th or 29th of mar, and NO SIGN of roots, althouth the clones themselves appear OK.

Could SOMETHING in the alfalfa tea be inhibiting rooting? I wouldn't think so, but......someone PLEASE chime in here. I took down an entire female selene

I forgot to add that the temps during the day are right at 80 deg, but drop to the mid 70's at night even tho lights are on 24/7. RH in the room is 40% constant

What are you using to clo ne
? Gel, powder or the ones you soak the medium in? I use the gel and rock wool rapid rooter I had 2 root in 31/2 days out of 8 the others should be good in 2 more days tops. All I can think of is maybe it's not humid enough or not enough root horomone...

If you had a plastic cover? Maybe you just took off for the picture...also I don't recommend sitting in water
