Please point me in the right direction

I'm going to do my first indoor grow and I have questions. Can you use CLF's from start to finish of the growing cycle? How far should my lights be above the container to get sprouts? How many inches above growing plants? Please explain how long the light cycles are from start to finish. With 900kw how many Lowryder plants can I grow in 2' X 2' X 4' high"?

You can use cfl's from start to finish but will not yield as much as you can with HID. Keep your CFL 2-3 inches above your plant. Place your hand at the top of your plant and make sure the light does not make your hand feel uncomfortably warm. As far as your light cycle, you will want to go at least 18 hour light during you veg stage, when you are ready to flower, you will switch to 12 hours of light. I do not know about your last question, i have never grown low riders.
